My opinion on the game against the Wizards is based on what I have read so please no flaming if it disagrees with what you think:
It seems that the backup unit was working together really well and was clicking, they outplayed the Washington bench by a lot, and did alright, knowing what to do as a UNIT, not as individuals, no matter who was on (ie. two starters, three bench players, or 4 bench guys and one starter).
Peterson was held to 6 points, but it's preseason so I guess one bad exhibition game shouldn't mean much.
Bargnani did alright in his first game (exhibition but whatever), I think for the next preseason game, he won't be anywhere near that foul prone as he has gotten over that hump of his first game (though I do think he will get something like 4-5 fouls in his first SEASON game, and stay a little foul-prone until after around 7 games).
I guess it's nice to see that Bosh has worked on his three-point shooting, but I just hope that he'll be just taking the odd-three here and there, and not taking like 2-3 a game and just hanging on the perimeter.
I read somewhere that the Raptors only shot 38% (FG%) overall in the game, with a horrible 21% in the first quarter. Not sure if this was because the Wizards' defense was really THAT great or bad shot selection. Though I did read that despite a good game by Jones, his shot selection could improve a little. Same could be said for Ford.
Let's all hope for an exciting 2006-2007 Toronto Raptors season and hope that they are a force to be reckoned with
EDIT: Overtime against Celtics. TJ Ford finishes the night against Boston with:
6pts, 4 ast, 1-5FG, 1-2 Three-pointers, 3-4FT, 6 Fouls
, and 8 turnovers

EDIT #2: Raptors WIN!! Garbajosa with
18 points, 6-10, 4-8 from 3 point land, though I would like him to get more rebounds,
only two defensive ones.
Calderon another big plus off the bench,
13pts, 6-9FG, and 6ast.
13 points by Bargnani, though he shot only
4-13 (0-5 3ptFG), also got 5 rebounds.
Fred Jones' statline:
14pts, 2-11 FG
, but 10-11 FT, 8 rebounds, and 7ast
.
Kris Humphries did well in his limited minutes
(played only 7:09), 8pts (2-5FG, 4-4FT) and 3 rebounds.
Tucker played today, 2 minutes, 0-2FG and 2 fouls.
EDIT #3: Had to put this somewhere, Rajon Rondo owned the Raptors tonight,
29pts, 8-13FG, 2-3 Three-Point FG, 11-12FT, 4 Rebounds, 5ast, 3 steals, 3 fouls, and ONLY one turnover.
