Oh come off it... even if Redick's NBA career crashes and burns, he'll always have had a far superior college career to Korver. Korver couldn't even manage 20ppg on a team like Creighton, yet you think he'd be more famous than Redick if the roles were reversed?
Tue Apr 18, 2006 4:51 pm
Korver doesn't move off the ball as good as Reddick does and JJ can actually drive occasionally (although he's so obscenely unathletic that he'll have problems doing any of that).
Tue Apr 18, 2006 5:10 pm
Heres an idea... wait until Reddick has had at least
one NBA game before the Korver/Reddick argument continues
Tue Apr 18, 2006 5:11 pm
It's not an argument about Redick in the NBA though.
Tue Apr 18, 2006 6:07 pm
Yes, but comparing Korver to Reddick seems silly... because Korver has had so much more experience, so he should be better (and all round, he probably is)
Anyway... i'll just shut up now, this hole wont dig itself

NBA Auctions Listing: Darko's Shoe
Nobody's bid on it yet tho, so this little piece of history can be yours for only $125 U.S. (retail $99 U.S.

)
However I don't see why they only got the left shoe.. Some crazy fan must've stolen the right one..
On a more 'on-topic' topic, I wonder if Darko will spend his off-season in the gym or just slacking off. I hope he'll spend as much time as possible getting back into shape and improving his physique. Would be real interesting to see if he'd actually be able to do some of those things people thought he would do before he came into the NBA...
Mon Apr 24, 2006 2:30 am
Its one thing if you can manage the college system and come off screens and have the offense set around you and make impressive jump shots, its another if you can fit into the nba and score and be good when the offense isnt run around u.

I would buy the shoe cause im sure hes gonna be great in the future. But im broke...

Darko is back, stronger and meaner than ever before! He's gonna rock your world!

Darko always comes all jacked up to the training camp and he loses some of his mass during the seasone, probably because of all the travelling and the fact that he loses motivation after he sees he's not going to get playing time. But his work ethic was alway reportedly strong and the improvement in his skillset prove that.

I expect Darko to have a good season this year. He might start with Howard or might be first off the bench, nevertheless he'll get at least 25mpg. I wonder how many blocks he'll get. If he starts, and gets 30+ i think it's reasonable to expect 13ppg 7rpg 2.5bpg.
Magic have a chance to make some noise this season, but it hinges on Jameer Nelsons health. He's the PG that can take them places. Can't wait till they play Detroit.
Wed Jul 19, 2006 9:29 pm
Is it just me or does he look more bulked up on these 2 videos?
Wed Jul 19, 2006 11:03 pm
He is more bulked up. Guys over at RealGM posted a recen pic of him and he looked like he is seriously lifting weights. Considering that he played this season at around 255, 260 pounds, I expect a 270 pound Darko to have a lot less problems creating for himself in the paint and his man defense will also improve. 14ppg | 7rpg | 3blk would make me very happy.
Darko for MVP!

I'm not sure about muscle, but he looks kinda chubby compared to last season.
Thu Jul 20, 2006 12:06 am
Hater

. He got big
and ripped.
Thu Jul 20, 2006 1:28 am
agree with Fenix, that isnt chubby. But he also cant be 270 pounds. thats...big. Cant think of a comparison right now. If he was 270, he'd be more filled out.
Thu Jul 20, 2006 1:36 am
He definitely doesn't look chubby in that pic... but yeah, definitely not 270.
Thu Jul 20, 2006 2:19 am
He was 250 pounds at the predraft camp@the age of 18. He just turned 21 and he looks noticably bigger, I'd say he's a solid 265@7'1. That's not that big for his height. Duncan is smaller and weighs 260 or so pounds and he certainly doesn't have arms like that.
Thu Jul 20, 2006 2:21 am
Tim Duncan's brain is probably heavier than Darko's.
That's not fair, I have a lot of time for Darko. And he does look much better this year. He and Dwight will be pretty imposing together. Hopefully Darko will get the start.
Thu Jul 20, 2006 2:27 am
Come on, he's not bigger than Duncan

Darko's arms are more ripped obviously, but they are about the same thickness... and Duncan's body is alot bigger than Darko's.
Thu Jul 20, 2006 2:45 am
Cuz duncan eats more doughnuts than darko doesnt mean shit. Duncan is more fat than muscle.
Thu Jul 20, 2006 2:49 am
You're an idiot. Please remove your brain from your skull and return it to whatever semi-retarded rodent you stole it from originally.
Thu Jul 20, 2006 3:19 am
You can say what you want about Duncan being "not ripped" but he's 100 times better than Darko...
