Draft rights traded by the Grizzlies along with F Tony Massenburg to the Houston Rockets as part of three-way deal on 8/27/99 in which the the Grizzlies received G Michael Dickerson, F/C Othella Harrington, G Brent Price, F/C Antoine Carr and a future first-round draft choice from the Rockets, the Rockets received F Don MacLean and a future first-round draft choice from the Orlando Magic, and the Magic received G Michael Smith, G/F Rodrick Rodes, G Lee Mayberry and F Makhtar Ndiaye from the Grizzlies

And Vancouver got their second leading scorer (Dickerson, who's dissapeared/been injured the last two seasons) and the starting PF, Othella Harrington. We also lost Tony Massenburg (who played 20 games at center 9height: 6'9'') with a broken arm and averaged 12 and 10) who came back the next season. We got a pretty good deal considering Steve wouldn't sign with us.

to clarify- IMO i think houston didn't give up much to get francis. that is why i said he was a steal.

I would actually rather have the cast, as we already had Bibby, and I don't think a Bibby-Francis backcourt would work very well.
