i really doubt it. I dont think he's officially retired yet. And he was only with the Bucks for 4 or so years, which didnt bring any great playoff success.

it didn't, I checked just then. I thought I heard it from a second rate basketball game like Inside Drive 2000 or something like that, but obviously not.

If his college jersey was retired, perhaps there was a reference to that.

I think Baker's and Kemp's downfalls were linked to each other in a way.

That three-team deal between the Bucks, Cavs, and Sonics was somewhat strange at the time, and neither guy was the same afterwards. They had one decent full season each (97-98), and then the fizzle began.

The lockout had a lot to do with it as both players gained weight that season. They also began to struggle with personal problems, in Kemp's case cocaine while Baker's was alcohol.

I think the Bias case is very sad... he was young, the future of the celtics after bird and mchale... but what happened with Eddie Griffin... he commited suicide having a little daughter...
