Yeah, but knowing the Wolves are, hypothetically, in more of a dire need to move Kevin Garnett, Danny Ainge could legitimately tighten the thumbscrews on a potential deal. With Minnesota backed into a corner, he could remove say Ryan Gomes from the table, and the Wolves would still need to accept it because they arent getting better offers from anywhere else.
