Williams is on one of the best rebounding teams why wold he need to get alot of rebounds? His team has the better record off a tougher schedule, that is all that matters. You are just another ignorant poster. What is wrong with the jerseys? They match the team colors perfectly. I dont see whats is wrong with them.

It seems everyone is an ignorant poster when they have views on Utah. Not everyone is a Utah homer and not everyone should have the same views as you. Also i dont like the Utah alternate, thats just my opinion you cant change that.

No everyone is an ignorant poster period lol. I guess im just sick of people not giving Deron Williams the credit he deserves. But o well his team has the better record. Anyways..

Raptors @ Jazz monday night who wins?

Mon Nov 20, 2006 2:12 pm

Jazz right now. They're on a roll, everyones playing well. The raptors have....Bosh? Jazz in a blowout...

Wed Nov 22, 2006 4:50 am

The glory years of John Stockton and Karl Malone never produced a start like this. The Jazz overcame a 16-point third-quarter deficit on Monday to edge the Raptors, 101-96, and improve to 10-1 for the first time in franchise history. Carlos Boozer celebrated his 25th birthday with 35 points and second-round rookie Paul Millsap had his second straight big game with 20 points on 8-for-10 shooting at the newly-christened EnergySolutions Arena. The victory was also Jerry Sloan's 900th with Utah, making him the first coach to win that many games with one team.

Also 2 Jazz players on nba.com's Race to MVP.
http://www.nba.com/features/player_rankings_061121.html

Boozer #2
Williams #10

Wed Nov 22, 2006 5:06 am

They've played like 10 games. Relax.

Wed Nov 22, 2006 5:14 am

Just because your team is not 10-1....

Wed Nov 22, 2006 9:13 am

No Jazz player will MVP....it's clear the award is going to LBJ, regardless of how many his team wins.

Millsap though is the frontrunner for ROY

Wed Nov 22, 2006 10:18 am

do you guys reckon this team with kirilenko fit is better than the early to mid 90's jazz team with stockton and malone?

Wed Nov 22, 2006 11:21 am

Matt I know LeBron is getting MVP and he should of gotten it last year also. Its hard to say if this team is better then any of the stockton or malone teams. Its probly deeper I know that.

And the guy was picked in the 2nd round

Wed Nov 22, 2006 11:41 am

I have been telling you guys about him.

Wed Nov 22, 2006 11:44 am

Lebron will definetly be the MVP this year, regardless of what happens. Steve Nash will not be getting it 3 times in a row, because Amare is back and nothing he can do will top last years performance. I personally like Dwight Howard early on.

Utah Jazz 11-1

Thu Nov 23, 2006 4:20 pm

Damn they're doing good. 11-1 record with 4 games coming off a 15 point deficeit or more and all on 2nd half runs. The Kings game today was the most exciting. Williams with 20/7/13 and Boozer is averaging double-doubles.

Thu Nov 23, 2006 4:21 pm

Suprising yes but they wont maintain their form. Theyll hit a speed bump here and there.

Thu Nov 23, 2006 4:25 pm

couldnt this go into the Jazz thread?

Fri Nov 24, 2006 4:31 am

Raptors should have won that Game. . .I got mad at the end lol

Fri Nov 24, 2006 7:50 am

There's a freaking Jazz Thread. Holy gosh.

Most of us probally believed CP3 will be 1 of the best point guards in the upcoming 10 years in the league, and we foresee him in an all-star form starting this season.

However, i'm surprised how close their #'s are given CP3 had a big start to the season.

If you look at the upward swing of Deron William's stats, you will guess that he will avg another point, and half an assist

I haven't seen Williams much, he doesn't seem fast enough to be an elite pg but i guess JKidd isn't that fast right now.

Whatever the colors are nice. They are a hell of alot better than those ugly shiney nuggets jerseys.

Williams
PPG 18.7
RPG 2.5
APG 9.0
SPG 1.60
BPG .20
FG% .510
FT% .818
3P% .250
MPG 37.1
--------------
Paul
PPG 19.3
RPG 3.9
APG 9.3
SPG 1.50
BPG .00
FG% .503
FT% .815
3P% .214
MPG 36.1

Williams is waaaaaaay underrated.

First off the Nuggets jerseys own all of the cheap looking Utah jerseys. At least we look as if we can afford descent clothing where the Jazz seem to bear washed up thread. Second Williams may be underrated but when you compared those stats Paul beats him in all the important averages like PPG, APG, RPG thus Paul is the better point guard. Good Day.

um lebron???? i think lebron is overrated but that's just an opinion so don't go crazy about it. um boozer for MVP, if not boozer i'd like to see nowitzki even though i can't stand him when he plays against my jazz. but overall the jazz are amazing right now, i hope they keep it up. But don't get me wrong Lebron is good but not good enough for MVP. An personall y i don't like any of the jazz jerseys, i wish they would go back to the green retro's and have an older logo like whent he pistons went back to their respectable colors and logo.

Sat Nov 25, 2006 6:23 am

How could i forget nash if he can turn the SUNS around from whatever it is they are going through right now i'd love to see nash get an MVP award and after nash is gone i'd like to see kirk hinrich or luke ridnour turn into a nash type, i like nash cause he plays like stockton, and it's amazing to see how much they have in common, but yeah i'd vote for Nash if he can get them out of this little crap season they are having so far

Sat Nov 25, 2006 6:27 am

But let'sbe honest a jazz player will never get an MVP award or any award for that matter, I mean look at AK47 in the last 5years he's been a defensive force and never got defensive player of the year and Sloan never got coach of the year, or Memo who had an amazing season last year and did not get voted into the all-star team. i mean the NBA never recognizes tems like the jazz cause they are old-school, they play real basketball and i think Stern sucks as a commissioner , he puts praises upon other teams that are crap and always leaves others out. BUt like i said no JAzz player will be recognized.

yomoboy: AK47 never gets defensive player of the year because although he is a force, he's injury prone and never lives up to his true potential. Sloan hasnt gotten coach of the year because he hasnt earned it yet. And my final point...Okur averaged 16.7 PPG, not every 16 point a night player is going to make the all star team. On top of that, there are VERY popular players at his position and it is truly a popularity contest.

Sat Nov 25, 2006 11:25 am

AK47 was an all-star a couple of years ago and he didn't gte injured! but it's all good, like i said jazz players will never be recognized
