2 techs= automatic ejection

I gotta admit, the Cavs are looking really strong this year. Lebron's definitely improved his finishing around the basket skills (and posterizing Tim Duncan in the process) and Hughes is probably 80-90% healthy and Drew seems to have is act together and Z is solid as usual... I could see them making the East finals and making a run at the 'ship.

they look better, but besides LBJ & Hughes theres no substance.

Sick dunk  . Aside from the dunk, is it just me or did that seem like he took an extra step?

2 rebounds.... is that even possible for a center? With his sizes, balls should be landing to him. He doesn't even have to move.

I remember Yao had a game where he had no rebounds at all  .

I am so pumped for a sweet Hughes and James combo, really impressed by the both of them so far. James just needs to lower his TO's and he's set, I think he's improved on D so far, but it's to early to tell for sure.
Bosh had a beast of a night, so did Odom, both really impressed me. Kobe is becoming more of a team player which I like to see, but at the same time, it was so fun to see him dominate offensively scoring 35ppg.
I didn't watch the game, but saw highlights of the Bulls game. Wallace had 9 points, so much for all that talk about him thinking he had a good offensive game. He'll score just as much as he did in Detriot. Anyways, Bulls blew it in the last few minutes from what I saw and heard.
J Oneal had an alright game, 25 points, 6 boards, and 5 good blocks, but in the end they lost.

It was two steps if you watch it real close. The Cavs are playing well, but as soon as one of them is injured then the team will struggle, most likely Hughes will get injured.

Bogut is really coming into the league. This is going to be his coming out year. His probably going to average 20-10.

Pistons chalk up another win, and Flip played 5 bench guys into dbl digits even though this wasn't a blow out (Y) Jason Maxiell really stepped up after McDyess got into foul trouble. Even Rasheed is rebounding.

Was Ryan Gomes playing SG tonight?

On nba.com scoreboard, he was listed at the SG spot.

Yao Who? Yao Ming! :D

Yeah, picked up TMac's slack by throwing in 36 points on 12-16 shooting... he's doing alright.

And with the Warriors, they were just terrible... Andrei Kirilenko is a freak.. he consistently fills up the stat sheet... even if he didnt score in double digits, at least everything from rebs to asts to stls and blks are all accoutned for in his stat line...

And it does look like Gomes started at SG

Jasikevicius 16 points in 20 minutes.

Udoka again getting ~30 minutes, thats incredible, he just might have found his place in the NBA.

I gotta say Darko Milicic has made some drastic improvements over the last 12 months. This time last year he was lost out there on the court, showing only a few signs of life. Now with the Magic he's much more assertive offensively and his lefty hook is automatic. His D is much better now, although he still fouls too much and some of his baseline rotatios are to blame there....still, he's contesting and changing heaps of shots.

Darko is playing well. (Y) He's on a team that actually lets him to play (no knock on Detroit... at least Orlando sort of need him now...) and he's catching up... I would imagine that he is still 2 years behind cause of the 2-3 seasons of sitting on the Pistons' bench for games. He's catching up though. I wonder what would happen if he was the only good big man on his team... maybe he can go to ATL :D

But seriously, he is a good fit in Orlando IMO and him and Howard are going to rip it up!

Kobe really passing the ball. Kobe is really passing the ball in the 1st quarter. 5 Assists in the first quarter with no shots taken.

That game was over in 3 quarters. Sonic backcourt: 54 points, LA backcourt: 20 (15 from Bryant). It's been a while since i saw Seattle score 38 points in just 1 quarter

In the other conference..is Miami now everyone's **** or what? I still can't believe Kyle Korver destroyed Miami.

Hey maes, why wasn't Lamar or Kobe shooting... or were they shooting?

Kobe was passing, took only 10 shots total. Obviously he's easing back into it and not risking further injury.

Odom took a whopping 2 shots in the entire game that weren't 3 pointers. I'm clueless, since i'll freely admit Seattle isn't a defensive stopper by any means and Odom's been playing in prime form lately.

My theory is that Kobe beat up Lamar as a kid and now whenever Kobe appears on the court Lamar just disappears.

Lamar needs a hug from Kobe and Kobe needs to say, 'everything's gonna be alirght'

But why wasn't Lamar shooting? he's been averaging 28 and playign so much better by actually attacking the basket. I hated how passive he was last season... noooo...

And read:

The Sonics honored 16 players at halftime that were selected by fans to be a part of their 40th anniversary team. Among those selected were Lenny Wilkens, Nate McMillan, Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton, Xavier McDaniel, Spencer Haywood, and current players Allen and Lewis. Kemp received the loudest cheers and said he's headed to Italy next month to play for a team in Rome.

For all of you Kemp lovers!

EDIT: Just noticed Sixers are 3-0 but what's impressing me is Kyle Korver (Y) 22 today and 28 last game, he's doing quite good.

Korver has been on fire.....in the Magic game he had everything going in. He scored a cpl in the post, off the dribble, coming off screens, catch & shoot. Tonight as well he was on fire, he took some difficult shots but they went in.

AI and CBooze awarded Player of the Week in respective conferences... Boozer is averaging 20 ppg, 15 rpg on .500% from FG.

EDIT:
Sporting News wrote:Pistons PG Chauncey Billups is the jewel of the 2007 free-agent market, and he reportedly has Milwaukee on his shortlist of desirable destinations. Which is convenient: The Bucks could have as much as $14 million in cap space next summer. .

Who can explain to me why is Udoka again getting over 30 minutes? Is he that good? Today he played 33 minutes and got 11 points and 10 boards.
