How is it an embarrassment for them to do something special on a certain day? I don't see how it's inappropriate. Consider the tribute ribbons the players sported on their jerseys during the 2001/2002 season in rememberence of September 11. The Knicks represented New York, but it's something that all the teams wanted to acknowledge.

I seriously think the Celtics should use that as their primary away jersey... I know there's stacks of tradition in the current white/green colour scheme, but it's not as if this is a complete revamp... just some minor changes to make the jersey look cooler and ALOT more marketable. I love the clover on the back too.

Nice Jerseys, hopefully its gives the Celtics some luck of the Irish. The jersey gives a lesson to the Kings on how to use gold properly in team uniforms. The Knicks and Bulls are nice too.
