He didn't play for stats. He played to win. The fact of the matter his, he didn't know how to win. He thought that to win, the ball had to be in his hands the whole game. He thought he had to be the playmaker and lead the league in scoring at the same time. This made it easy for good defensive teams such as the Pistons to beat the Bulls because you could just focus your energy and pressure on Jordan and dismantle the whole team.

Then Phil Jackson came and made Jordan's life much easier. Six rings came out of it.

in the central division, if you total the rebounds for key frontcourt players for each Central division team, the Cavs are not even the best.
