I thought you were referring to Zo's game, but it seems more like the "I hate his attitude" kind of thing. I understand that, I also have that opinion about Kobe regarding his attitude (*makes myself a target for Kobe fans*).

When did Grant Hill nearly die? The fact remains that Zo always has played basketball with emotion, and he still does.

And who cares if zo is only shell of his former self. The fact remains that he is still playing despite the kidney problems becuase he loves basketball. If you want to criticise him for trying and not letting his kidney disease stop him from doing what he loves, you're pathetic.

again, i never said he was a bad person, i know all the charitable shit that he does. but really, lets put this into perspective.

say this wasn't the heat we were talking about and it was the raptors instead. matt bonner comes in off the bench and everytime he grabbed a rebound or blocked a shot he started flexing his pipes and mouthing off jibberish. annoyed? i know i would be. fact is, a lot of people get fed up watching him pull off that same routine over and over again. it's a personal preference of mine that i do not like about him, and thats that.

You're still contradicting yourself though. To call someone garbage means you dont respect them. Look at the definiton of garbage in the dictionary, and the fact that you would label a human being garabge becuase they play with emotion on the court is pretty low.

Cant you see thats almost the same as calling a girl a slut and then saying you respect her. You cant do it becuase its contraditory to your actions: if you truely respect zo, you wouldnt call him garbage. Plain and simple.

i'm not contradicting myself. in regards to your slut example, i think kobe bryant is a punkass bitch for cheating on his wife yet ON THE COURT i respect him as a basketball player and i truly believe he's one of the best. same thing with zo i think he's garbage on the court but off the court i respect what he does for the community.

kinda off tpoic but for all the charitable things zo does he could bring down the prices at his barber shop. it cost me around 30$ to get a measly haircut. my regular barber at this other shop wasnt there and i heard they were good so i was desperate. somebody told me they give good cuts but didnt say anything bout the price.

i'm 19. and i don't hate people for showing emotion on the court except in instances like this. you see guys like allen iverson who make spectacular plays all the time yet he rarely boasts about it (unless it was the game winner) guys like iverson bust their ass for 40+ minutes while carrying the load for his team. the emotion that he carries and exemplifies i totally respect. then you got guys like zo. fresh off the bench, grabs his first rebound and he showboats like he's the best thing out there. wow, good one zo, you grabbed a rebound and you're 7'0. boykins is 5'5, do you see the little man act like a complete clown when he grabs a rebound? you know what, you just made me realize something. it's not the emotion aspect that pisses me off about zo, it's his showboating.

grant hill came back from 3 separate ankle surgeries plus he almost died from that staph infection. you don't see him flaunting around like he's hot shit telling people that he's back and contributing. no, he goes out there and does his job without any dramatic antics.
