Well, people that learned playing basketball outside the US, like Manu don't do streetball moves, and they're still great players (I mean, Manu's a GREAT player, and I don't say this only because I'm argentinian).

Well, also, look at the guys hes teamed with.

He's had crap with him in NY the last two seasons.

He had Amare and Marion in Phoenix, but they weren't as good as they are now, plus he's no Steve Nash. He's not a true pass first point guard.

He's a scoring point, more along the lines of an Allen Iverson (I'm not saying he's on AI's level). He's not going to make players better by passing the ball as Nash did.

In NJ, they had no RJ and K-Mart. They sucked for years at that time way before ever getting him.

so he doesn't make players better like a Nash, LeBron, or Shaq does, but neither do a lot of Superstars. No reason to hate him.

Marbz gets unjust hate. As soon as the team gets the chance to really improve he gets shipped. He wasn't going to re-sign with Minny so they shipped him. New Jersey had tonnes of injuries one year, traded Marbz, and everyone got healthy. Plus they picked up Richard Jefferson. The first year Phoenix got Marbz they had blown up their team and shipped all kinds of people off to get other players. Among the other players Marbz. After a year they make the playoffs and play the best out of anyone against the Spurs and were pretty damn close to an upset. Then the next year Amare is injured and Marbz is gone by January. It's BS! And New York isn't particularily well managed, so that shit ain't his fault at all. And on a side note, he gets 8 assists a game, so it's not like he's never passing.

C - Brad Miller: He just does not rub me the right way
PF - Cliff Robinson: Nearly 7'0'' and he still can't grab a board to save his life
SF - Peja [insert last name]: overrated, ugly shot, not much on d, a King

I agree with you on Marbury. Although I don't really like him and think he's not the right franchise player for NY, people hate him for nothing. I can understand people 'dislike' him because of the best PG thing, but Kobe's been talking that shit for a couple years now.
Also people tend to forget he (and the Suns) were pretty good back when they stole game 1 in San Antonio on Steph and Amare buzzer beaters. They just ignore because it doesn't fit into their opinion of 'every team that Marbury has been on sucked'.
