Miami got most out of the deal, Walker, Williams AND Posey. At first I didn't think they'd get Posey. That was quite a surprise. On paper their team looks quite strong, as others have mentioned, it could be all or nothing a la LA for Miami. For Shaq's sake, I hope it's more of all than nothing.

i've grown very tired of this stupid 'rivalry' between myself and jackal. and it's very frustrating that jackal takes shots at me personally just because i challenge his nba opinions backed up by valid points. considering the whole dweaver & filip fiasco, there was a lot of negativity going on in the nlsc. i thought it would be a great example to everyone by showing myself and jackal for once and for all end this 'rivalry'

other nlsc users have told me i have to be extra nice to jackal if i want some peace. why?

it is my fault for expecting jackal to act mature in this situation. in my experiences, most people who work towards some kind of agreement or compromise practice this. but for some reason or another, he refuses to do this, which in turn is making it impossible for some kind of peace agreement.

and also it's my fault for even bothering to offer peace. i've learned that anything i say jackal will take in a negative fashion and follow it up with some kind of negative remark aimed towards me.

i've reiterated that my comment about the lakers not making the playoffs was made in good fun. maybe i was being unreasonable with this lakers comment so i asked other nlsc users on their opinion on this matter. unsurprisingly, they agreed that what i had said wasn't out of line. despite this, jackal proceeds to misunderstand it and actually mocks me for putting in the effort to consulting a neutral opinion.

as for this bet talk... i've admitted to turning back on a bet, which was 2 years ago.. repeat 2 years ago. but only 1 person seems to be still making an issue of it. and yes, it's true i did give matt some shit on his first few posts after the pistons lost but that was it. i am not a vengeful person, so it's quite unfair and assuming that jackal portrays me as such.

i've been trying to work towards some kind of peace and explaining myself while jackal just continues to rip on me and actually mocks me for acting this way. for all the expletives and irrelevant drinking references made towards me, i have yet to respond or fire back at him.
