Athleticism doesn't give you skill to play SG
Unless your name is Michael Jordan...

WTF? Are you saying Michael Jordan was so good only because he was freakishly athletic?

They WILL BE in the play-offs next year, quote me on that, please.

I'll quote you, but come next spring, you would probably not remember this moment as one of your greatests...
I dont understand you guys bashing Villanueva. If it were Graham at 7 and CV3 at 16 would you still be bitching?
At first I didn't like the pick, but going into the Draft the Raptors needs were 1. A point guard, 2. Depth inside, 3. A defensive presence

Actually yes because Green and Granger would still be available at both positions

Yea we get depth at PF, and possibly backup center, but what about securing the future of the team at both swing positions, or filling the center spot. Also if they drafted CV to play center, then it means they're giving up on Araujo who they just drafted last year at center, and if they want to do that, at least get a real center, not a 6'9 perimeter PF.

You have a good point with the swing positions, but who says CV3 can't play the 3? We still have Jalen and Mo for atleast a few years (barring any unforeseen trade). Graham is a wing player who has been said to play like Artest to Jefferson in many scouts opinions. Ukic is a 6'5 PG/SG, and a back-court of him and Skip pushing the fast break is a dream in my opinion.
I feel the Villanueva pick is justified, even if its just because the expression on Sam Mitchell's face when he speaks about him.
Charlie Villanueva wrote:It definitely feels good to be the seventh pick, Toronto definitely saw something in me and they believed in me," he said. "All my life there's been people doubting me. One thing about me and that's I always believed in myself and I know what I'm capable of doing.
I'm really looking forward to Ukic play, people have already said he is like Ginobili in point guard form.
