The Knicks are going to hope for a smaller version of Chris Bosh.

You mean second coming of Loren Woods ?

I would more compare him to a not as good Steven Hunter.

There's about 9 "Knicks are going to hope for" players on that roster already.

Make it 10, cuz I think Isiah is in to that kind of guy.

Thank you Larry Bird for firing that dumbass, that was the smartest move in NBA history

Hey come on Isiah Thomas is the best think to happen to the knicks since Patrick Ewing. SO thank you Larry Bird for giving the knicks a big gift.

Sean May, another undersized power forward, Please no!!!!!!
We already got Sweetney (hes good no doubt about that), Malik Rose, Taylor, Jerome Williams, Kurt Thomas and some other people I forgot. All these guys are 6 8 or something close and they all play undersized PF or unathlethic SF.

Yeah but Sean Mays has the wide body to play post...he's even thicker than Brand or Larry Johnson.

If Mays adapts to an NBA level lifestyle and conditioning, he'll be a force.
If he doesn't, he'll be another Traylor.

Regardless, i don't think the Knicks are drafting him that early.

Sweetney's really wide aswell... they'd have the Worlds smallest frontcourt. Bynum is a major project but I guess someone that size and that athletic doesn't come around all that often.

Alright Frye is a knick. I dont understand why some Knicks fans are upset about this? Come on!!!!!! The Knicks needed a big man and whos a better big man at the 8th pick than Channing Frye.

The Knicks people on the radio station I was listening to were completely going nuts over Frye, they basically pencilled him in as the next Pat Ewing and declared the Knicks the NBA champions for the next 5 years at least.

In a long time we have some talent along with the height for our center position.

I keep telling you guys Isiah's not the main problem. We have one of the worst owners in the league. Jim Dolan and his cronies at Cablevision have made this franchise a laughingstock. He wouldn't care if the Knicks get knocked out of the first round for the next 10 years, as long as MSG is sold out. Instead of rebuilding(like the Bulls did), we're stuck in mediocrity. And we'll stay that way as long as Dolan's in charge. Lousy management is why this team hasn't won sh!t since 1973. Sorry young Knick fans, but it's the cold-blooded truth.

 that's hilarious....most fans at MSG seemed pretty happy with the pick, especially Spike Lee....Nate Robinson also got traded to them in the Thomas-Q deal....but when the Knicks used the No. 30 pick on David Lee, a white boy, the crowd and Spike Lee weren't happy....gotta luv that draft is in NY

Well I dont think he is ready for the NBA rite now, so it may take half a season in NBDL or a season before he is ready. And Knicks have a lot of PF so no hurry, Lee could take his time (not too much) and develop into a solid player.
