Are you really going to call my opinions invalid because I'm a Celtics fan? The C's had one of their few games on National TV last night, where everyone got to see Jefferson murder the Pacers defense. They even started doubling him down low. It doesn't take a homer to tell you that this kid's gonna be something special. I'm not gonna go out and say that Mark Blount will become an all-star because I know he sucks, but it's my un-biased opinion that Al Jefferson will be a star in three years.

Maybe it's because you've seen him play a lot more than other people have. So your opinion is much more educated, in my opinion. I like Al, but never actually seen an entire Celts game this season , and I really cannot judge. The league needs good post player though, so here's to him living up to the expectations

I like Andre Igoudala. He's not a star/the leader on his team right now like some other people are, but I think with his abilities, he can. He can slash, he's an a great defender, and a vicious dunker. If he can work on his jumper I think he'd have a great all around game and be able to make a name from himself around the league.

how are your opinions going to be valid, especially in a celtic related discussion, when you're admitting your bias towards towards celtics players?
i'm glad jefferson had a solid game yesterday. isn't such great task doing it against the pacer's frontcourt players, but nevertheless, it's good to see rookies perform in the playoffs
maybe he'll be a star, maybe not. he'll have to beat out:
the current stars: shaq, ben wallace, igauskas, jermaine o'neal
borderline stars: jamison, okafor, howard, rasheed wallace, chris bosh
up and comers: krstic, dalembert, eddy curry, tyson chandler, al harrington
i probably left some other bigs out from the East, regardless- that's quite a lot of big men he'd have to beat out to make the all star team

If Telfair can improve his jumper he could become good. Thats what he lacks.. a jumpshot. The kid can handle and pass the rock.. he just can't shoot!
