I think the Wolves play the SPurs after the Grizz finish their season.... if so, that will be very exciting if the Grizz lose thier next two games and Wolves win their next two...

I can only hope. The Wolves/Sonics game isn't on TV today so everyone that can't go to the game here is a little pissed off. Oh well, I'll let them suffer while I soak it all in when we STOMP the Sonics 134-61.

Riot it looks like your prediction won't happen unless the Sonics just score six points in the 2nd half

It's been a good game so far, I'm just hoping Seattle can pull it out.

Yes! Grizzlies make the playoffs for the 2nd consecutive year. The Timberwolves lost by double digits.

Minny put up a good fight to stay in, but they should've did that earlier in the season and they wouldn't be in that type of position. Looks like the Suns vs. Grizzlies will probably be one of the top 3 best first round matchups to watch.

FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
*ahem* I'm sorry.
Wolves trailed by 17 going the fourth and gave their all to come back. They cut the lead to 5 with 5 minutes left but they just ran out of gas after that.
It really pisses me off. Good luck Grizzlies; they'll be one of the teams I root for this postseason. Always next year...right?

Riot: Despite your predictions of post-season hope, I'm sorry about the Wolves. I know how big of a fan you are, and man, KG did not deserve it.
Mon Apr 18, 2005 11:04 am
I was hoping they'd at least have a shot until their final game (since it will be shown here on ESPN next week). I read the other day that this season will be a major knock against KG and his status as a superstar, which I think is wrong. Oscar Robertson missed the playoffs four times in his prime, yet some still argue that he's the greatest player in history. I can't agree with the notion that this season's shortcomings prevent KG from truly being considered a bonafide superstar.

*sigh* Always next year.
Regardless, I'm still going to go to the Spurs game and we still must go 2-0! It's about pride!
Mon Apr 18, 2005 6:57 pm
Of course its about pride! Mark Madsen says it all! lol
man... poor KG, the critics might wanna bash on him for a while.. but with Kobe in the league... its ok- he wont be getting too mnay harsh words..
wonder if hes gonna get the, 'if ur a superstar why cant u get ur role players to play right' and shit like that...

Well it looks like the Suns will definitely play the Grizzlies in the playoffs with Memphis beating San Antonio tonight. Mike Miller made the game winner off a beautiful play that you all would have to know basketball to know how good the play was.
Miller faked the screen for Stro, then ran to the left wing and was wide open, then he turned around for the 18 foot jumper and hit all net. The clock started before Jwill inbounded the ball though because Jwill did like a fake pass and that's when they started it, so when Miller shot the ball it, the time expired, but they discussed it and they gave Memphis the basket. It was initally 1.4 secs left on the clock, but when Miller got the ball, it was 0.3 secs.
