Hey Chris, you seem to dislike LeBron a lot. He was having an MVP season before the ASG, when he (and the Cavs) started declining.
He's probably tired, he's 20 and he never played an 82-game season before. Plus, he played in the summer for the Olympic team. He's probably hitting the sophomore wall (I made that up :P ).
44% is not that bad, and still is better than Kobe ( ).
most of the players play good for a couple games and then they just suck. Nobody can play at a high level all the time, nobody's perfect.
The hype came for his athletic and dunking ability. I guess you all know who he was compared to. But he played better than expected as a rookie, so he got more and more hyped. I don't think that's nothing.

No I dont dislike LeBron. I like him as much as I liked Kobe when he entered the league, both being smart kids at the time.

What I "dislike" is the over-hype thats going on. Its exactly the same with Kobe Bryant, with the difference that Kobe is being booed all the time, like anti-effect.

Its silly, both are good players. Media though can screw itself, overhyping LeBron and disgracing Kobe Bryant. And its likewise here. Hate that as much as the critique laid on Chris Webber or Ron Artest.

The only player really "worthy" of the hype this season is Steve Nash, and he's the guy I could not stand a few seasons back.

Just dont like it a bit that if guy does super things one time and is below average on nine other attempts then he gets the praise. Or with Kobe, fails bigtime once in his career and gets shiet on his shoulders for the following years.

Its stupid.

The game is what all this should be about, and each of these players I mentioned play good basketball.

I don't know if LeBron is being overhyped, because he is only 20, and he's putting up incredible numbers that Kobe have not achieved in his first two years in the league. I know Kobe is getting a lot of bad rap about the rape charges and the expectations, etc, etc, but that's the media's perception, and it shouldn't change what LeBron have achieved.
