um actually hakeem is famous for the fallaway 18 footer. robinson was a GREAT shooter. who cares what there "famous" for they can all shoot and shoot well. shaq cant. period. end of story.

He does have skills. How do you explain the moves he make? The agility to run the court, jump, etc?in all the series shaq lost the opposing team had a good center except for the bulls.

Maybe because he doesn't have to shoot...I mean, what do we have to do to get it into your head that Shaq doesn't shoot because he never would have a reason to shoot if he can post you up, and either throw it down in your face or use his amazing footwork and fakes to get you to go up and he will draw the foul and usually finish.
And basically what your saying is, you have to be able to shoot to be a good center. If that was the case why not just put Ray Allen and Peja at center. Every other center shoots because they can't be as dominate as Shaq can be. Really the only other centers I know that can't shoot are Eric Dampier and Samuel Dalembert. But they have decent post games which again gives them no reason to shoot.
So I don't care how badly you hate Shaq, your talking to a guy who hates Shaq, but as you can see, I hate him but I know he is the best. No matter how much I curse and punch the TV when he gets 30 and 15 against my favorite teams, I know that is not going to make him any worse. So grow up and learn, that everybody on these forums knows that Shaq is the best center in the league right now, and maybe the best ever, and everytime you put up an argument someone always counters and then you say that Yao is better because he can shoot.

you know what? you are right. you are right and every other person is wrong. in a case of 1 against all the 1 actually won. its amazing really, i dont see what we all were thinking. i am gonna start sending letters to the miami heat, try to get them to make shaq shoot more outside jumpers and try to cross over his defender. i want to see him bust out fade aways and 360 dunks. wait nm the 360, dunking requires no skill and we want him to be a more skillfull player. imo if shaq dont make atleast 60 three pointers this season with a 3pt average of atleast 45% the heat should trade him. hey maybe they can get wesley person to post up all the time too.

Actually he is one of the best big man passers in the league. He makes some amazing passes for his size and that is where he is underrated. The only better center in the league that passes better than him is probably Divac, there could be more but I think you will think up a list of probably every center in the league and say Shaq can't pass for shit.

Why do you think Christie punched Fox? I could go on forever with these kinds of 'What if he hit he', but I think I proved my point that Barkley tackling Shaq wasn't the only fight in the NBA.

Sorry to go a little ways back but about barkley never playing dirtty there is a picture in slam with barkley going after a rebound and his foot is stratigicly place right in the crotch of Horry. This may have not happened on purpose but i am sure Horry thought it was a good way of keeping him on the ground.

imo shaq is top 3 most "TALENTED" players in the nba. I have never seen anyone with his size do the things he does, while i've seen many great guards with similar skill sets. If it was so easy to be shaq and dominate the nba then every 7 foot fat dude would join the nba and get big contracts.
Shaq is not dirty. If you call backing someone down into the post dirty, well thats almost every player who's ever done anything worth anything. Just because its unstoppable doesnt mean its dirty. If that were true I could make a case that mj was dirty because he used his ass to create room for his fadeaways.
Shaq gets away with things? Maybe once in awhile, but I would argue that the refs dont call enough on shaq! Some games you watch in complete disbelief as a brian grant and lamar odom grab on to one of shaqs arms each and he still gets it up for a dunk and a free throw. Did you see how mark madsen guarded shaq in the playoffs? Can you imagine the beatings refs allow shaq to take as defenders elbow him in the back and put 200 pounds of pressure to keep him back? I believe shaqs takes more beatings than iverson does, but ai's is more publicized because he wears those bandage things and he's small. If anything I say that you got it the other way around.
