its not the fact that he made the all star team after mediocore seasons, but that he was at the very least one of the top 3 vote getters every time on a team that sucked whether he played or not. vcs okay, but doubtful to be among top 3 or even 5 swingmen again in his career.

Yeah I act stupid sometimes when defending my team, you'll have to ignore it at times, it's just that Carter plays like a Top 10 player some nights and others he's horrible. He does have the talent to be an elite player whether the haters agree with me or not. He's only 27, so I don't think his career is over yet and hope's still there that he could once again be an elite player but that's all us Raptors fans have going for us these days.

i think carter can become even better than his old self if he worked harder and stayed heathly. I think Kevin O'Neil was a horrible coach and he seemed to play against the strengths of the Raptors (am I wrong or am I right?). I didn't see too many Raptors games but I've heard bad things about O'Neil.

I'm a wolves fan, we all know, Sam Mitchell is a great guy and should be a great coach. I'll be watching the Raptors extra closely.

You should be excited. Sam Mitchell tought KG alot of what he knows, without Mitchell I don't think KG would be the KG he is now. Bosh can learn alot from mitchell if he listens.

Look at the forwards in the East, Jermaine O'neal, Ron Artest and Richard Jefferson are probably the biggest other ones right now. Carter and JO will get most of the votes, Carter get's votes because he has no competition, Ron Artest, Richard Jefferson, Grant Hill, Glenn Robinson, Scottie Pippen etc aren't going to take votes away from him.

If Carter was listed as a guard, he wouldn't make the All-Star team as a starter, and same thing if he was in the West because KG and Duncan.
