Well we all no a lesson.Dont trust a team, dont trust a player.I wanna know from Boozer if he said that he wanted to come back.I think its wrong that he left like that wit the potential that they had in Cleveland. But it never hurts for a couple extra millions. But come on,how much does a person need?

and if its Paxson's fault, fire his ass
especially if Boozer becomes an All Star in the West

Boozer has a chance for redeeming his rep!! I hope he takes it...although he would be backing out on his word with Utah...that would be twice he betrays his word...do 2 wrongs make a right?

Even if he re-signs with the Cavaliers, his reputation has suffered. It doesn't seem as though he's completely burned his bridges, though.

Boozer's side of the story...

Apparently he claims there was no verbal agreement (which could save the Cavs a few future firsts) and if there was he would be staying in CLE. But since there isn't, he's going to UTH.

I think they both are at fault. It's hard to tell who over who but I think it's fair to say Cavaliars management had just as much to do with this as Boozer. I still love Boozer, I don't know what's up with all this hate. Everyone would do the same thing in Carlos's place.

I can't blame him for taking a higher offer, though if he did agree to re-sign with the Cavaliers he should have honoured his word. The NBA is a business, but that doesn't mean there isn't a bad way to go about that business.

It wasn't the money he really wanted to go to Utah. And it's a very wise career move because he will have a far bigger role in the offense and will be much better coached.

Well like Andrew said, ' the NBA is a business' so after Boozer had pretty much killed his rep as a Cav, not that drastically but still, the money was there. Either way, Boozer and Okur at the Jazz will strengthen them down low but I'd say that they'd rather Boozer play at the SF, because with AK47 killing all PF's, Boozer would play second string.
But the Jazz really need to think about getting a decent guard, whether a point or shooting, and this just goes to show that the Jazz aren't all that rasicst; they've just got a very white/latino team. Meh, I don't have much love for Utah, I respect them as a team but withwhat they're management is doing... anyway, I'm too tired to argue.

Did anybody see the Cav's owner's note to the fans?

It's clear what happened... Boozer is a liar. NO TEAM would release a player they could have paid less money to continue to keep unless there was some kind of agreement. Especially not a team that has JUST returned to mattering. Honestly, if that is how Boozer is, they are better off without him. Between Lebron, and such other pieces like Dajuan Wagner, the Cavs can still be a great East team. And there are always alternatives, just find someone who can rebound, and focus on team work. If the Bobcats cut Lonny Baxter, the Cavs should sign him. I believe he could be productive if given the chance to play.

Yep that was sad. I hope they get fined after that. He was trying to portray Boozer as a backstabbing bad kid, but also that they never negotiated a verbal agreement prior to July 1st. It's either Boozer is a bad guy AND the Cavs broke the rules of the CBA OR there's nothing wrong with Boozer's actions and there was never a verbal agreement. Right now, if I were Paxson, I would say there was never an agreement and they made a mistake. Unless you want to get a few draft picks taken away...which is just speculation, but it's running a high risk.
