I'm pretty sure part of the deal would be to send the Franchise to the Magic, where he can run his own team.

I think Orlando should try T-Mac and Okafor or deal T-Mac. One of the biggest weaknesses of the Magic this season was a lack of a true big man. DeClerq, no comment on him, Gooden was a 4 who was pushed away by Howard, and Howard couldn't play the 5 at all. Young guys like Steven Hunter and Zaza Pauchila just weren't ready. The other problem was they really needed a true PG. Not a stop-AI-for-a-few-games-then-sign-big-contract type guy or a shoot first point guard. Rod Strickland played well, but he was/is aging and wanted to play for a playoff team. I think this draft can address the Magic's two largest problems. The Magic do have 2 2nd round picks so if Duhon is gone by the 1st of their 2 2nd rounders, they can take someone like Burks or Chambers with their 2nd.

t-mac for ai isn't going to happen, for all the knocks people put on ai he was in t-mac's position for a while starting with his rookie year, and he still wants to be a sixer for the rest of his career. if mcgrady comes and ai goes he's still in the position he is in now, and he will eventually have to deal with philly managements revolving door of players. after a year or two he'll be asking for a trade after putting up with the role players they'll try to stick beside him. but put him on the team with ai and that may be a different story, especially giving iverson a running mate which he hasn't really had since hughes left.

he might even enjoy passing again and do it more, which most of you may find hard to believe, but if you are constantly penetrating and dishing to open players who literally watch the ball sail out of bounds, or fumble with it before losing it or have their shot blocked because they can't catch and go staight up, you'd stop passing too till you had someone who could handle it.

ewwww T-Mac is Houston just don't sound right. Yao Ming is a bit too slow for t-mac....not to mention t-mac will definately decrease yao ming's full potential, more than francis since tmac is a shooting guard and he wants to score, not pass.
