Official Finals Thread: Heat Vs Mavs

we hear this every year, every series from the opposing teams fans. We hear all these stupid excuses again and again when people are too proud to admit that their team lost. Shut the fuck up. Why did miami get more free throws? simple, shaq and wade. Miami is a team that attacks in the paint vs dallas which is a jumpshooting team. Shaq alone got miami to the limit pretty early every quarter, not to mention dallas's big - who would usually help against wade - is slow because they don't want the lob to shaq. So either the big is slow getting there and that leads to a foul, or a different help defender is slow reacting - which leads to a foul. Don't point to the fucking foul count, you have to play the game a certain way to get fouls. Thats like saying "why doesn't that bum who does nothing all day earn any money?" You want a pretty game where both teams get 20 free throws each? Then what the hell is the point of fouls? just take away fouls and give each team 20 points to begin with.

It looks like Dallas finally got the short-end of the stick- they had it coming. Avery's Dallas Maverick team wouldn't be here if it wasn't for their luck in the second round versus San Antonio. Duncan was clearly fouled as the buzzer sounded and there was no whistle (Duncan sinks a free throw and they're headed to the conference finals). Also, remember that game where Dallas had 50+ free throws with all kinds of terrible calls earlier in that Spurs series?

doesnt matter. the player is judged to be wherever their feet last touched the floor while in mid-air.....therefore wade was, according to the rules, in the front court until he landed in the backcourt. i actually looked at the youtube video and thought he might have got his left foot down before the catch, not sold entirely on that though. but while in mid-air, a player is judged to be wherever their feet last touched the floor. not where they land, and not where they would be if they were on the floor.

Devin Harris is such a pussy. When he draws the offensive fouls, the calls are like at the edge of being a defensive foul. The foul he just got charged with in Game 6, Harris gets all pissed off. Harris' push and fall days are over.

Miami has way too many turnovers to start this game. Dallas is playing excellent defense and fighting for every rebound, offensive and defensive. Miami is just standing there and not hustling.

I beg the differ. This recent Dallas run was more so Miami's bad play. Wade has to keep taking control, i'd also bring back that unit that included Wade and Mourning. It's gonna go down to the wire.

Maybe Miami will improve in the 2nd half but Dallas is gonna give everything they got since they are on the edge of elimination. I look for Dallas' Big 3 to get more minutes.

The mavs are living and dying by jumpshots despite miami's tons of turnovers. Do they really wanna win a championship? Can't say im dissapointed to see miami go into the half with the lead. :cool:
