I'm watching the Nuggets game now. The Nugs look absolutely awful out there. AI looks pretty decent, but he's still getting used to things. If Sacramento was any good at all they'd be up 30 right now.

I'm watching it too and I agree. Plus, this ain't the same Nuggets team without melo & JR. this isn't the same Iverson because Boykins has more attempts than him. they will struggle for awhile to find their new identity.

Of course Denver will look awful we are missing our best players. Camby, Melo and JR Smith are huge losses.

Iverson had a great start as a Nugget, but how do you let John Salmons of all people get a triple double?

I have a feeling that Iverson is going to defer the scoring to Melo on this team and focus more on distributing. I think he is going to average a double double for the rest of the season, something along the line of 23-24 points and 10-11 assists. I think that if he were to do that it would cement his status as one of the greatest players ever.

like i said when Salmons was signed by Sac-to.....the guy is underrated. He does everything well, but does not excel at one thing that stands out. Philly will surely miss him.

AI goes to one of the teams that I hate. Damn it.
At least the Sixers got Andre Miller, I would have been happy even if it's Earl Boykins. Miller is definitely a better acquisition considering the Sixers have no trade leverage at all.
As a Sixers fan I will officially celebrate Miller into the team when he throws an alley-oop to either Iggy or Carney.
The other thing to worry about now is what to do with that high-priced piece of shite named Webber.

after 2 games i think iverson will average at least 25/10 as a nugget... basically a higher scoring steve nash number wise.

AI's been great so far if he can keep up the team-first attitude while keeping his scoring numbers strong, then the nuggets can definitely have a shot. the nba's so mediocre this year that a strong spark like this trade can be enough to push a team close to the top.
