NZ are out. No surprise though. I'm happy with their showing this World Cup. Really, without even one quality big & still having to rely on Pero's (& Phill Jones') epicness is never a good thing. We could've used Sean Marks out there. Probably wouldn't have made a difference though. Great to see Penney dominate the World Champs. Let's hope Luis Scola scores less so Kirk is tournament's top ppg scorer :P

I love the fact that there are so many Aussies on this board because you will NEVER hear that phrase anywhere else.

I love the fact that there are so many other nationalities on this board who are ignorant to the fact that Aussies and Kiwis are not the same.

so i predicted all the games correctly so far. i got Lithuania & Brazil winning tomorrow/today. next matchup for the US is Russia, which i find intriguing. Their lack of size could be exploited by Russia, or they could run fast breaks all day and run them out of the gym. most likely the latter in this case.

Not an option, I don't have an IQ. I can set my VCR to timer record off the AV channel which is a decent enough solution when I need it.

ehhh Yi's achilles' tendon is inflamed. whatever he scores, Kleiza will match. the rest of Lithuania's team is better than China's. but we shall see who is right tomorrow.

Not really. I struggled to care when the Boomers were playing. Now I have zero reason to care at all.

Dragic was impressive in the series versus the Spurs. He totally made Tony Parker look like a basketball noob. I guess he's doing quite well in international stages as well. Looking forward to his next season with PHX.

yeah Scola was pretty non-existant in the 3rd, but boy was he clutch. Looks like Barbosa was gonna bomb Argentina out of the game but the Oberto look-a-like hit those 3s to keep em in it and Scola closed the deal.

Scola the MVP of Euro league. I remember getting excited when the Rockets picked him up for almost free of charge. Imagine him with Timmy Duncan.
