Maybe you were thinking of Vince Carter and Mcgrady being cousin in laws?

They both are eachothers' brother in laws if I'm not mistaken. Both married the others' sister.

Atleast that's what I think.

Is Darryl Dawkins a draft burst during his time?

I mean when a player is pick like we say 2nd Pick in the draft and he didn't do good in his first season like say Darko who is considered a draft bust(dont know the term). Is Darryl Dawkins like him?

Darn my English is bad

Oh, okay. That is subjective, and not totally what this thread is for, but I wouldn't call Dawkins a bust. He didn't quite meet some expectations, but he was still a star, and better than the wide majority of other #5 picks.

Here is a question.....

Rajon Rondo seems to always have his headband with the NBA logo upside down. Is there a reason for this, or is it just coincidence?

I'm guessing it is some sort of lucky charm, he probably played a game at some point with his headband that way, did really good, hence keeping up the "ritual".

When was the last time (before this year of course, barring another record-breaking meltdown) a team won it all after missing the playoffs the previous year?

The Blazers in 1977. They're the only other team to do it so far.

75' and 56' Warriors were also shown, at the end of the game, as missing the PO year before.

How regularly do NBA players get paid?

Weekly, fortnightly, annually?

Or a big lump sum at the beginning of their contract?

Depends on their contract. Shaq would always go for the lump sum. At one point the vast majority of players got paid every two weeks.
