It's easy to take a glance at it because yahoo displays current w/l and standings smack in front of the league page. Even w/l record each week for every team only takes two clicks from the league page.
You'd be crazy to even memorize or remember such shit.

Of course that league browsing time would be better spent on scouting potential waiver pick ups but with the amount of teams we have the FA list is pretty dry as it is and any break out from a particular player would be quickly known even if only half the league knows it, which are still 10 teams. Unless you simply do what fantasy sites tell you to pick up.

I tried the Yahoo app before when each separate app was required for different (NBA, NFL) leagues. It was basic but found it lacking that it doesn't even show player updates or news about injury reports. Maybe Yahoo improved it now.
Just checked and it seems all fantasy leagues are now combined in one app, might give it a try again.

Yeah me too. I usually don't check box scores until at least the 4/430 games are over which means unlikely performers have already been scooped up. It also kinda makes the wavier system a little useless unless there's a ton of adding and dropping, which this league does have. This is easier in football because players play on (mostly) one day a week. I just set it on weekly waivers which allows everyone a fair chance at hot pickups of the week. But since we are using weekly rosters in this league anyways, I think that might be the way to go

I know I'm at the bottom of the waivers every week and I'm surprised that I still get osme of these guys that I'm getting.
Plus, I've been picking my defenses up every week from waivers so take away like 12 weeks of adds for defenses and i'm right around where you guys are at

Maybe drop that shit? It's all hunch and gamble. How many people make their moves based on daily boxscore only. Look at the past moves that were made. It's less about number of moves but still about evaluations of players and situations. I made 14 waiver moves but none of them turned out to be anything. Ronnie Price, Shabazz, Covington were the latest steals off the waivers btw. Look who got them and how they got them. Luckers that took gamble not entirely because those players played well on that day. Signs and possibility were already there.

Just because you suck at spotting talent or too lazy to do so, sure let's go change the entire system so others can spot talents for you. Play video games 5 less minutes everyday and skim through rotoworld, even that allergic to win teams like Akinfenwa FC probably could turn things around.
