Is Scola a guaranteed signing? That's great if he is, fantastic player (Y) Definitely one I'd want for the Lakers.

Is Scola quick?

Hmmm, i haven't seen him play in the last couple of years as I do not watch Euro ball often, especially outside Greece. But if I recall correctly, and from what I saw in the Olympics, he's not really quick, just a passionate rebounder and banger, Ginobily-style, just without the flair...

Jae, yes, he is. Spurs drafted him back in '02 I think, and they still have his rights.

I'm the most sure of the trophy coming to Conseco next year as ever. This team is the best Pacer team ever, including the ABA teams in the 70s. In fact, im POSITIVE barring no suspensions or injuries, the Pacers will win it all next year. Hear that mutherfuckers? Thats a GUAREN-FUCKIN-TEE!!!.

Even without Reggie and compared to some of the other great teams that came up just short of the Finals?

Indy is more biased than I thought. It's ok to root for your favorite team, and be confident about their chances, but to guarantee that they'll win the trophy next year is, IMHO, a really stupid thing to say. I know about the Pacers, their records, injuries and suspensions, but winning the championshop is not an easy thing to do.

Yes, I believe they are. Especially with the chip on the teams shoulder and the passion the team will be playing with next year.

Why is it stupid? I am so incredibly confident in this team, if I had the option I would purchase non-refundable finals tickets right now.

I never said it would be easy. There will be ups and downs. But I have the ultimate confidence in this team that we will be putting out on the floor next season, and I think we will be winning it all next year.

I just want to say one more thing. Will it be sad to finally win a ring a year after Reggie retires? Yes. Do I care? Not really. To be honest I'm pissed off. I'm pissed off that this season ended and we aren't the champs. I'm pissed at John Green for throwing the cup. I'm pissed at Ron Artest and Stephen Jackson for going in the stands. I'm pissed at Jermaine O'Neal for punching that fan. I'm pissed at David Stern for giving Ron a season suspension. I'm pissed that Jamaal got injured. I'm pissed that Jermaine got injured. I'm pissed that Reggie retired without a ring. I'm pissed that I have been a die-hard Pacers fan now for 16 entire seasons and I've never seen my team win a ring. I'm confident in my teams talent and drive next season because I think they are all just as pissed as I am, and hopefully even more so.

I think JO is the most pissed that he didn't get Reggie the ring. I think Jermaine will come back with the passion and fire he has never had. I think he will finally step in to the leadership role that he needs to take and he will lead this group to a title next year. I take that back- I KNOW he will. I have such utter confidence in the team, that my thinking we are winning the championship next year is so close to 100% confidence I can confidently say we are GOING to win it all next year.

The season is 4 months away from starting but I'm pumped up as if the finals start tomorrow. God, I hope I don't go nuts
