Even with the impressive victory over the Mavs, I can't see the Warriors making it to the finals. Their up-tempo game gives them an edge over Rockets and Utah, but they are going to have adapt to guarding the post now with Boozer or Yao looming over them. If they can do that, they can make it to the Semi-Finals. And this is where they face their toughest opponenets. The highest scoring team in the league or one of the better, if not best, defensive team in the league. Very dim chance of getting past Spurs or Suns.

yeah, but to my mind the most scary opponent is PHX, but warriors could count on J-Rich in that match up, what could raja bell or barbosa say to j-rich and his dunks? nothing! and what bout B-Diddy vs. Nash: nash is a dump in Diffence, diddy gonna hit him up and go to the rim! Stat and Matrix allways better then biendris and Al Harr, and both teams have good 3-pt shooters: PHX: nash, rose, barbosa GSW: Jackson, Diddy, J-Rich, Azubeike! so my voise goes for GSW!

So you think GSW are better than Phoenix because they have 4 good 3 point shooters, compared to 3 that Phoenix has?

And i dont care how many points Baron Davis scores, theyres no way they can stop Amare.

Yeah, I don't think GSW would stand a chance against PHX (or SAS), no matter what their level of confidence is. Either way, they'll have to beat the Jazz or the Rockets first, and it might not be that easy.
Still, amazing performance to beat #1.

I am also going to go "an hero". Or maybe I'll just go emo.

But I still gotta congratulate the Warriors. They were just too good, and rode way too much euphoric energy. Dirk was rather flat, the rest of the team failed to function like it did in the regular season, but I don't see any roster changes, just ran into the wrong team. I blame the Sacramento Kings for not beating the Lakers so Dallas could've avoided this ;)

I want Houston to beat Jazz in their game 7. I will be happy if either Warriors or Rockets make it to the West Finals, but please not Utah!

I knew the Warriors had a huge chance of upsetting the Mavs. I REALLY hope they can go all the way, and i think it is possible. I think that the Warriors will have a better chance of beating the Suns rather than the Spurs in the West finals in my oppinion, but that is just me......

Lets just hope that they can make the West Finals! Warriors for 06-07 NBA Champions!

Wow, props to Golden State. I do think that they'll have a tough time getting past anyone with a post precense, (Boozer/Yao/Stoudimire/Duncan) but this has to be a huge accomplishment. They always have the off-season to build.
New Jersey Nets - Kidd, Carter, Jefferson. Looking to make the playoffs.

I agree with you Lean.
Why would you need to subscribe here in the Philippines just to watch NBA. Why nit telecast it on RPN.

I think Warrior can go to the WCF. If they use their confidence just like what they showed in the Dallas, then hopefully, It's another History for the Warriors.

Just subscribe to BTV man, they show playoff games everyday.

Yeah, GS will have a hard time with Amare in the paint, he will just dunk on any player on GS. But who knows, if they can keep him in foul trouble, then they stand a chance. Against the spurs, though, it's a different story.

Wow, without Dallas in the way, it seems likely that Phoenix or San Antonio would win the championship (my prediction).

The mavericks are still better than phoenix and san antonio and houston, etc.

They just can't match up against golden state b/c they're small and fast.

I hate dallas though, golden state has moved to my third favorite team now (1) Cavaliers - b/c my home town, (2) New Jersey - b/c they beat chicago and gave us #2, (3) Golden State - b/c they beat dallas and I hate dallas

GS could advance past houston or utah if they stay healthy, and i won't be surprised.

no they are not.......Phx & SAS don't choke in the 1st rnd, they actually beat inferior opponents.

So much for the two teams that went against in the Finals (Heat and Mavs).

Yeah, I agree. I see Dallas as a Regular Season team...So much for the expectations of the title run this year.

I wish PHX and SAS will play in the West Conf Finals, the same way as CHI and DET on the East. The bracketing sux this year....

Ahh its kinda tough. But the Warriors deserve it. I would say they are the only team capable of winning against Dallas 7 times in a season. Right coach, right players, very fast ... that killed the Mavs.

Ah and Matt according to your sig: are you a Dirk hater ? :)

I wouldnt consider GS an inferior opponent. They were the hottest team in the NBA coming into the playoffs, and that's because they are healthy.

Dallas just can't keep up with GS, if it was any other opponent dallas would of won.

Now wouldn't it be a travesty if Dirk wins MVP after such a horrible showing the playoffs? He was beyond horrible.

I hope Steve Nash gets it...

I haven't seen the MVP awarded before to a player whose team isn't in the 2nd round.
