We actually won a game. Must of been a fluke i say. Lets see how they do against the Bucks....we should win but who knows with this team we might get blown out by 50.

Go Anthony! congrats to him for making the all-star game, he has really deserved it and didnt play too bad against the Pacers either.

35 seconds to go, we're up 105-102...

EDIT: We win 109-102, Nene finally hit some FT's down the stretch! All 5 starters in double figures, JR Smith came in and got 16 off the bench, Earl still put up 26 somehow. Cheap tactic from Milwaukee to foul Evans and send him to the line, but he hit some of them. Kleiza and Najera came up big again with 12 and 15, big block from Eddie on Bell or Williams so Bucks wouldnt tie at 102. Camby was dressed up but didn't play, up next vs GSW on Monday.

We actually won. For once the team looked to play somewhat descent. Earl Boykins tried to get revenge and he did play pretty well. If we can win all the way to the all-star break then we might be able to salvage this season and still make the playoffs and actually do something.

3 in a row!! Melo put up 28, JR with 27 or something, Kleiza hasn't missed 28 consecutive shots at FT line, looking good...except Melo walking off the court with some hip injury in the 4th :(

yeah im pretty sure the hip injury wasn't serious, cause he could still run a little bit, straight after the collision.
Good to see 3 ina row, Melo is playing a more all round game he had something like 8 boards and 5 or 6 assits, to go along with his 28 points, he also shot a much better FG %, than recently, im also really impressed with the progress of Nene, posterizing players regaurly. JR also chipped in 28 and 6 3's.

Next up Minny, Go Nuggets!

Tue Feb 13, 2007 5:54 pm

I think the Nuggets heard our worries....

Tue Feb 20, 2007 6:22 pm

Well our man Carmelo played in the All Star game and proved he's meant to be... i think 5 dunks, in his 20 points and 9 rebounds, a few alleys as well as assists, he played well for his first time, it really suited him imo, a future ASG MVP i bet. I also think if he made a couple more shots for maybe 25 points and if completed his double double, he would've been a true MVP contender (Y)

Tue Feb 20, 2007 6:30 pm

Well this is it, the break is over and now it gets serious. We have to win at least 25 out of 30 i reckon to make a descent run at the title. Carmelo has stated numerous times tho that this season has been blown for the Nuggets with numerous the things the suspension, the new acquisitions and new roles so all i hope we get out of this season is a good shot at the title which means possibly West Conference finals or even the NBA finals and ill be somewhat satisfied. 2008 if all goes to plan will be probably our best year ever.

Spurs are winning by 30 points.

The Nuggets are so damn confusing.

Thu Feb 22, 2007 11:43 am

That was a retarded performance from Nuggets, I left after end of second to the store, they had 38 points, I turned on at the beginning of fourth, WOW 48 points!! Smith's out for 3-4 weeks, that mens more playin time for Kleiza  at least he takes smart shotsp

Thu Feb 22, 2007 12:03 pm

you know your team sucks balls when Brent Barry drops an alley-oop on your ass

Thu Feb 22, 2007 5:56 pm

Smith's out for 3-4 weeks

What happened to him something about his knee? injuries are screwing up this team like always.

Yeah Knee Injury, needs Surgery. Jeez we just can't get a break and man did we suck aggainst SA, i got to watch it on ESPN and it was one of our worst performances yet. Melo played shit, so did Iverson and everyone else, even though the Spurs played near Perfect Basketball on Offense and D, we were even held to 10 points in the 3rd quater :? We had a little spurt at the end thanks to Demarr J, who hit three 3's, for 11 in the qtr, but i missed that cause my Foxtel IQ stopped recording, cause it went longer than the time slot. :x

Fri Feb 23, 2007 6:33 pm

Linas Kleiza rules ! I think after ~2-3 years he would play in starting 5..

Amen.

Hey guys new to this forum and saw the thread of my favorite team lol.

Yea nuggets aren't playing their best bball right now, and frankly they have no chance this year of getting past round 1 of playoffs. It's a rebuilding season basically with new members (ai+jr) and injuries. Next year tho with some off season training and more chemistry they'll be the team to beat.

ai+jr+melo+camby+k-mart
Which team can match up that that? no one

Mon Feb 26, 2007 4:41 pm

i can think of at least 10 teams better.

Denvers struggling to hold on to a playoffs spot atm.

Mon Feb 26, 2007 11:32 pm

k-mart would be struggling to start on quite a few playoff teams even if he was healthy. its unlikely we'll see him at his best ever again.

Hopefully we can trade that fucker during off season for a first rounder, he's not worth much anymore.

Tue Feb 27, 2007 1:39 pm

Nuggets finally get a win, but it's not a surprise when they play...Memphis. I would've cried if they lost today.

Melo+AI combined for 58 points.

Tue Feb 27, 2007 2:54 pm

Yeah, was kinda sad watching them barely get past a shitty team liek Grizzlies, great game from AI, Melo and Nene!

Fri Mar 02, 2007 2:06 am

Win over Orlando! AI's playing like he played in philly

Fri Mar 02, 2007 8:35 pm

Realisiticly we need to win pretty much the rest of our games if we have any hope of going anywhere.

Sat Mar 03, 2007 10:35 am

Yeah we got Rockets today on National TV.

Sat Mar 03, 2007 7:36 pm

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck! That game was so frustrating to watch, we lose by 11 to Houston, we still haven't won when we score less than 100

Nuggets didn't play too bad, whenever they got within 6 or so, the Rockets would just knock down a 3 and pull it out to 10-12 again. T-Mac had like 3 And 1's in the first 6 minutes
Melo shot way to many 3's (6) and too many jumpers, he attacked the ring a bit more in the last qtr, but other than that too many jump shots, he finished with an ugly 30. He also missed like 3 or so dunks and a few lay ups... AI didn't play well at all either and Camby 1 point :? and only 5 or so boards, at least he had 7 blocks... I think Steve Blake was possibly our most consistent shooter and Najera & Nene played alright. The Rockets just hit so many 3's-Bloody Battier, Alston, Mcgrady and Head hit 14 3's between them... At one stage in the last qtr we got within 8 or 10 and could have reduced it more, but AI missed both free throws , then T-Mac converted a 3 point play down the other end :wall:

A Frustrating Game to watch for a Nuggets fan... :(
