atlwarrior, not sure if your issue is with me or it's you simply being lbj's nutsack lover. But I welcome any challenge, it could be fun.
Love had a defined role that was much smaller than his fellow superstars. 14 rebounds, 3 of them on offensive end in a game their rebounding advantage played a key role, to top it off with 3 assists, 2 steals, and defensive effort, he more than make up for the poor shooting which didn't even come in vast numbers and couple of them being last second forced shots due to failed LBJ set plays, must I prove boxscore stats isn't everything. Go into the advanced stats, Love actually showed up for the game 7 though he had a bad overall Finals.
Tristan did his damage outside the boxscore. He's a dirty work player anyways. His impact against GSW's small ball was huge especially with sidelined Bogut. That was a game changer.
JR Smith was.. JR Smith. Praise I gave him was due to his timely big shots. When LBJ went cold/disappeared, JR made big tough shots. So did Irving, a lot of times. Otherwise JR had a subpar game as usual.
Game 7 was pure team effort. LBJ was central to the system even more this time around but don't be fooled, it's the system that worked wonders, not particularly because LBJ all alone was great.
Good grief, it almost seems you are clinging to that LBJ's one block as example of clutchness and trying to make him a 4th Quarter hero or saviour of the game 7. In truth he was horrendous for number of crucial stretches though quite passable overall hence the win.
THX TO DOPE-JAO FOR THE SPECIAL SIG! <3

Enjoy! <3 Jao
