Feel sorry for great guys on bad teams!

I don't think anyone's averaged 20 rebounds per game since the 60s or 70s. Rodman came close back in 1992 when he averaged 18.7, but that's pretty rare. I don't think many players could average 20 rpg over an 82 game season.

Same with points. Not every player could average 40 ppg. You're right in saying any player who makes it to the NBA has to be fairly good to get there. The worst players in the NBA often dominate other leagues (eg former Celtic/Raptor Acie Earl, who averaged over 27 ppg over here). But they're not all capable of averaging those kinds of numbers.
