Man that's tough..hope he gets better too.

I just wish professional athletes would be a little more responsible though. When you're being paid millions of dollars, you should not be doing anything foolish to jeopardize both your life and other's investments into you. He should have listened to Marcus Fizer.

if you ask me jay has the game of a shooting guard, he just happens to have the size of a PG. if you take a look at his career at duke, he was a shoot first, pass second guard who ran a lot of isolations and pick-n-rolls. not the classic pg role. and in his soph year, he played mostly SG since duhon took over as pg.

Yeah, I know he did a bunch of isos and what not, but he's still a great penetrator and he has an above average ability to dish the ball when he penetrates. I said he was for the "most part," so I know he's not a 'true' point guard. :) I didn't know the Bulls dropped the triangle at the end of the season...before or after Krause bolted? Crawford isn't a pure point guard, either. :P

If the Bulls took a point at 7 it'd be Ford or Hinrich, and I think both of those guys could start on the Bulls and Crawford could move to the 2. The Bulls could always go after guys like Earl Boykins or Smush Parker, they'd be cheap backups at the point.

The Bulls need to find a place in the rotation for Fizer...he's a great player, but he's stuck behind developing Curry and Chandler (at pf) and Marshall (at pf/sf). Plus, isn't he in the doghouse of Cartwright? Imo he should start at pf...I'd go with a Curry, Fizer, Rose, Crawford, Williams (pre-accident, of course) and bring Chandler, Marshall, and Hassell off the bench as primary backups. But what do I know? :)

i can't pinpoint exactly when, but i can remember as early the nets game when jay will notched his triple double, the bulls started to run less of the triangle offense.

Crawford isn't a pure point guard, either.

i was just thinking....outside of dali, curry, chandler- its seems that the bulls roster is full of players that don't have a true position

roger mason could be the answer as backup pg for the bulls. he was injured for the most part of this past season. but it wouldn't surprise me that Pax would be more comfortable with/go after a more experienced player at the pg position.

yeh fizer was in coach webster's doghouse in the beginning in the year. but he was able to play himself out of it and had a very solid month before he tore his acL. and considering he's coming off an ACL injury, i think it would make more sense to bring him along slowly. besides, fizer gives them instant offense from the bench. when curry is not on the floor, fizer is the team's best low post presence.

As for the other stuff, well, he was the shit in college and believed it, so once he starts struggling in the NBA of course it's gonna bruise his ego. If one's ego is bruised, the confidence goes down, and if he thinks he's inferior to other players, he will be. As for the quality of his play, it IS the management's fault because Krause wouldn't let them run anything but the Triangle, an offense without a true point guard - which is what Jay is, for the most part, anyway. Because of that, it takes the ball out of William's hands and pretty much takes care of his penetrating ability, especially with a guy like Rose who fancies himself a point guard.

I see were you coming from but at the same time he needs to realize he ain't getting paid to make executive decisions. He's out there to play ball so what he does is he shuts the fuck up, takes the good with the bad, and plays ball.

I'm not going to apologize. You might think I'm being harsh but shit that's just the way I am. I make light of bad situations. Don't blow it out of context, I'm just talking. And besides, I had high expectations for that bitch and he let me down so I had to get on his ass.

And getting on his ass, as you say,on a discussion board will help him get better? :P

The thing which most annoys me is that Jay had a descent finish to the season and according to reports was working hard in the offseason. Now we won't have a chance to see what would have happened next season...

Hotboy Mase... I'm glad the Lakers crashed and burned last season and I look forward to them doing it again in the upcomming season (y)

Naw i'm just letting out my frustration with him. It's a discussion board ain't it? I'm just discussing how I feel about it.

Whatever. Frankly player, I don't give a fuck. I'd acknowledge you if we were talking about my Lakers but this is a Jay thread.

Hotboy Ma$e, could you please edit your signature so that it does not contain profanity? We are fairly leniant on the No Profanity rule as long as it isn't directed at anyone, but it would be preferable if profane language could be kept to a minimum. Thanks. :)

Jason Williams is out for next season. The Bulls fear that Williams will never play in the league again if he has permanent nerve damage.
