If there's any team that should retire Mutombo's jersey that would be Atlanta.

he played in a number of teams, but Atlanta, denver and houston most influenced by him, but i think denver wouldn't do it, but atlanta and houston should!

I have a strong feelings that Houston will retire Mutombo's number. Leslie Alexander brought Mutombo back this season when the team is struggling and asked Mutombo to "give this team its spirit back". Alexander just flat out love Mutombo and I think there are just too many reasons to hang his banner up on the roof.

Good point, all other things being fairly equal his rapport with Alexander might be what leads to his number being retired, if that's indeed going to happen at some point.
