But Don Nelson has had success with his style of play, not to the tune of an NBA championship but he's coached contenders and the Warriors narrowly missed the postseason last year in a Western Conference where eight teams ended up winning 50 games and two teams missed the Playoffs with winning records, a year after they made the Playoffs and upset the defending Finals runner-up.

As for being better with Ellis, I think they can be. The Warriors have had significant players miss games headed up by Ellis and lost a major player during the offseason while adding one who is looking like he mightn't be a great fit in Maggette. That's the front office's blunder, not Nelson's and while he's more likely to take the fall for it, it doesn't mean it's the right decision to make/

8-9 under sam, 2-8 since then.

Bosh was never happy about Sam being fired and his stats dropped under a new coach. I wonder what the management will do make him happy again. He's a franchise player after all.

Not to mention a free agent come 2010. LeBron has hinted at signing an extension but at this rate I wouldn't expect Bosh to be considering that option as strongly.
