I've heard a few highly regarded basketball pundits claim that Jefferson is the best pure low-post scorer they've ever seen.
obviously they are new to basketball......however, i'd say he is the Easts best low post player, maybe 2nd overall to Tim Duncan.

i think its a case of people useing potential as a factor in how good they are. potential does not mean a thing til the player reaches it. for instance bo jackson had the potential to be the best football player ever but due to injury he cant be called one of the best. thats why calling jefferson one of the best low post players ever is just dumb at this point and time

Green's athleticism is fantastic, but he doesn't really have power with it, if that makes sense; he's not that great a finisher yet.
But what makes him still have great potential is his shooting touch. I still think he'll be very good.
Jefferson is sick, there's no doubt about that. Rondo could be very good if he learns to shoot, but that's a big if. West and Gomes are nice role players off the bench, or a spot starter on the right team.
I don't think things will work out with getting Oden, the team's playing more to their ability now and will get a worse pick unfortunately. But a big man like Roy Hibbert or somebody might do the trick.
Telfair for the pick was an obviously horrible trade, but last year draft was so bad, it comes out ok in the end if not having Roy makes this year's draft pick better.
