Bogut will be an All-Star, although that is due to weakening of the centre position
It's not that bad.......Howard, Okafor, Curry, A Jefferson

Most of the guys in this thread are already double digit scorers. Come on, have some creativity. Monta Ellis? Deron Williams? Dwight Howard? Yeah no shit.
Players not yet in the league that will be stars in their first 3 years (not named Oden/Durant/Rose/Mayo)
Brandan Wright
Eric Gordon
Daequan Cook
Michael Beasley
Acie Law
Players in the league that have not yet completely broken out, but will in a big way:
Danny Granger
Jameer Nelson
Ike Diogu (I'm starting to doubt it a little bit though)
Marvin Williams
Rudy Gay
J.R. Smith

Ok now, i think Kapono, if he can add some more things to his game, other than the Jump Shot, maybe some good D and some drives...
I don't think Derron Williams is a 'Star' yet, but he is very close and will definately be one of the NBA's top players.
I really hope JR can improve his shot selection, becuase he can really hurt you in many ways, he's got a great Jump Shot and can obviously hit the 3, Can drive to the hoop and finish and he plays good 1 on 1 D.
Rudy Gay, Luther Head, Randy Foye, definately Monta Ellis, Brandon Roy, i'd say Okafor, but i think he's already there.
I really like Gibson-he has confidence, and also Milsap, and Devin Harris.
Linas Kleiza has took his time, but he's finally showing me something, im not sure he'll become a star though...
I would really like Bogut to become a star, but i don't think it's gonna happen
Sun Feb 25, 2007 5:21 pm
As far as players whose numbers don't necessarily show it at the moment I'd have to go with Dorell Wright and Gerald Green, though Wright may have to leave Miami for it to happen.

Nice one.
I agree with the Diogu choice.
I'm also pretty big on Devin Harris, Charlie Villanueva, Sergio Rodriguez, Andray Blatche, Dorell Wright, Paul Millsap, Luther Head, Danny Granger, Jarret Jack, Louis Williams. I think they will exceed expectations and become key players/stars.
I guess Monta Ellis IS averaging 17 ppg, so he's not exactly a big secret. But he's gonna be big. Real big.

Quite obviously Hassan Adams is much more of a 'poor' consideration compared to the likes already mentioned. But this guy has a butt load of talent, extremely athletic and defensively intelligent. Can also make the mid range jumper. Gotta get him some PT.
Sun Feb 25, 2007 8:10 pm
Brandan Wright

and Thaddeus Young
Sun Feb 25, 2007 9:36 pm
Roy, Aldridge, Rodriguez, Webster, Outlaw.
Sun Feb 25, 2007 9:39 pm
Thabo, Tyrus Thomas, Charlie V.

Hassan is very athletic, but I just don't think he's going to get much playing time in New Jersey. Even with Jefferson out now he doesn't get playing time. He'll need to go to another team to reach his potential.
Sun Feb 25, 2007 11:27 pm
Thabo, Al Jefferson, Ryan Gomes, Jarrett Jack, Paul Millsap,

For everyone who named Tyrus Thomas, Andrew Bogut, Martell Webster are wrong. They will all be busts.
Mon Feb 26, 2007 1:41 am

Mo Willams, he is overshadowed by Redd, but if he leaves as a FA his talent will be shown.
Al Jeferson and Gerald Green, they are both young guys with a ton a potentail, and they are both improving at a pace taht in 4 years they could be unstopable.
Loel (is that how it is spelled?) Deng, he is athlectic, quick, big and has good offensive moves while playing good D.
Josh Smith, if he improves his shooting he is the altimate package. Athlectic, can play D and block and can even grab boards good. Once that jumper comes he will be unstopable.

6th man contender : Diawara, Davis Lee, Turiaf
Mon Feb 26, 2007 5:11 am
Felton, Bargnani, Roy, Foye, Al Jefferson and mybe Millsap and Rondo

Ok.
Tell us why we're wrong.
And LaMarcus can become a star in Portland, it's not like we're not giving him playing time and the only player who's eating his minutes at the moment is Magloire. Which isn't that much. It's not like it's impossible to co-exist with the great Z-Bo.
Mon Feb 26, 2007 2:30 pm
Andray Blatche, Dorell Wright, and Andris Biedrins.
Mon Feb 26, 2007 4:40 pm
Dorell Wright and Rashad McCants.
Mon Feb 26, 2007 6:49 pm
K Brown from Lakers and M Olowakandi from Minnesota I think

And I am sure this won't come before Magic Johnson makes his triumphant NBA comeback to even winning MVP honors.
Mon Feb 26, 2007 7:58 pm
i forgot to add Jason Maxiell....he may only be 6'7 but he plays much bigger. Finishes around the rim with power, extremelly athletic, quick, fast. A matchup nightmare. And he's a fairly decent defender which is a good start to superstardom.
Mon Feb 26, 2007 8:13 pm
Paul Davis, after watching some of his moves vs Duncan
Tue Feb 27, 2007 12:05 am
I forgot to mention Ronnie Brewer. He's gonna be REAL solid.
