No he wouldnt. Kobe wants to be a one man show and J-Kidd wouldnt allow that. Kobe gets upset and the last thing the lakers want to do is upset kobe

LOL, yeah right, Jason kidd is no ball hog and he would fit in fine with the Lakers, I'm tired of hearing that lame excuse

i gotta agree here. if kobe wanted to be a ball hog now is the perfect time to do it. sure he hogged that ball alot earlier in his career but i think he has proven that he is over that. i think he would love to have kidd on the team. someone to set everyone else up so he no longer has to. even if kidd never given a single assist to kobe he would still help the lakers simply be dishing the ball to everyone else.

The two of you say this when Kobe is playing largely, by himself, He has nobody around him that is comparable to Shaq in any aspect.

Maybe Kobe has evolved to a player that is willing to share the spotlight but until he proves that you dont risk breaking up a team to land another star player. Wait until the offseason when moves can be made for a lot cheaper of a price to take a risk like this

Kobes trying to show the world hes a changed player, but when it comes down to it hes still the same. He had me fooled for a while, but watching that game vs the Cavs last weekend or w/e the hell it was proved my point. In the 4th quarter Kobe was just about the only player putting up shots, up until the last 2 minutes of the game.

Maybe hes not a ballhog and feels that the only way the Lakers can win is if he takes the game into his hands, and yeah I agree, but not by keeping the rest of the team uninvolved on offence. Maybe J Kidd could mentor Kobe a little (doubt it).

What do you call a power forward that averages 7 rebounds?
A small forward.
