I'm going to give you credit here. This line of thinking makes a lot of sense and in theory I believe you. However, we've seen WAY too many athletes get into trouble for nothing and they knew that it would put into the spotlight. This kind of thing should be running through every athletes or celebrities mind but for whatever reason it isn't. There is too much proof to show otherwise.
So yeah...in theory you are right but in reality you are far off. It doesn't seem to effect the decisions made by some athletes.
