KG has been below par mate, his numbers are a bit down from thier dynamic best (however minnisota have a bit of a team-thing going now).

below par? what are you smoking? his numbers have obviously "dwindled" (and i'll use that term loosely), but thats what happens when you upgrade your roster with different components who give you a little bit of everything.

garnett has been the only consistent force in minny this season. his jumpshot looks better than ever and his ft% has gone up. it just sucks the people around him .. well, suck.

It's way to early, but judging by the season thus far, these are the full teams I would like to see in Las Vegas.

-= West =-

C - Yao Ming
F - Lamar Odom
F - Carmelo Anthony
G - Ray Allen
G - Chris Paul
------------------------------------
G - Steve Nash
G - Kobe Bryant
G - Tracy McGrady
F - Kevin Garnett
F - Zach Randolph
F - Carlos Boozer
C - Marcus Camby

-= East =-

C - Dwight Howard
F - Paul Pierce
F - LeBron James
G - Joe Johnson
G - Gilbert Arenas
------------------------------------
G - Vince Carter
G - Allen Iverson
G - Dwyane Wade
F - Chris Bosh
F - Wally Szczerbiak
F - Jermaine O'Neal
C - Emeka Okafor

I know Emeka is listed as a forward but I think that lineup would qualify. I also know Jason Kidd is nearly averaging a triple-double but he is simply being outplayed by Wade, Carter, Arenas and Iverson in other aspects statistically.

Indy, who would you pick to go to the ASG. JO or Big Al? Because Jermaine is having a not-so-good-by-his-standards season, it was the 3.5 blocks per that pushed him over Harrington on my ballet.

Al has been the bigger scorer, but JO is the difference maker. We are still a pretty good team without Al (Obviously not as good as we are with him) but we are plain out bad without Jermaine. He is intentionally diverting to other players and allowing it to be more of a team game then it has been in the past, therefore I think this will be Jermaine's best season if he keeps this up. Not to mention his blocks don't tell the whole story of how dominant he's been defensively this season. With all that said, unless Jermaine rebounds better on a consistent basis, he is not an all-star this season.

It's way too early...they haven't even played 10 games yet. And the entire first month of the NBA season has traditionally been almost as bad as pre-season.

I'm surprised they're letting people vote.

But then again...it is just a popularity contest so who cares about performance?

I haven't watched a lot of Magic games this season, but against the Pacers boy did he look awful. He dribbled the ball off his foot, missed almost every freethrow he took, missed a dunk, goaltended, got his shot swatted in to the 3rd row by Jeff Foster, passed the ball right in to Al Harrington's hands which led to an easy dunk on a fast break by Danny... over Ariza.

Some of those guys listed are definitely role players, not all stars. I mean, Delonte West, Morris Peterson, Raja Bell?

Forget the role players such as Fransisco Elson, Juan Dixon, Marquis Daniels and Mark Blount...

Chris Mihm (out for the season) is in there....

East:
C Dwight Howard-If he keeps this up, he's gonna be damn good sooner rather than later, maybe by february
F Lebron James-I personally dont like the guy but hey good for him.
F Chris Bosh-A "i like him" vote, but decent enough stats so far
G Kirk Hinrich-I vote for players i like alot but this one actually has the stats to be a real candidate
G Jason Kidd-Is a rookie in my old NBA Jam Tournament Edition for Genesis yet is still a beast 12 years later, gets my vote
West
C Yao Ming-I cant argue with his stats this season and he's going to always get voted in since everyone in china votes for him
F Dirk Nowitzki-He is one of my favorite players in the NBA today and i have no idea why...but i voted for him anyway
F Carlos Boozer-If he keeps this up, he's getting into the allstar game, no questions asked
G Deron Williams-Yeah i'm biased but take a look at the kid's stats...an almost 4:1 turnover ratio, 17 points per game, 8 asissts...and its his second year!
G Steve Nash-I cant argue with 2 time mvp and his assists/points per game...

Write in-Dee Brown since i know he stands no chance

only picking 5 for a 12 man squad seems ridiculous to me though. I had to snub a lot of people i think are deserving (Dwade, Arenas, Carmelo etc) Shouldnt we get a 5 G/5 F/2 C setup or something? hell most PF double as centers anyway....

lol I don't really care, I have unconditional love for him. :P
Since guys like Francisco Elson make it to the ballot these days, the write-in vote is a joke anyway.
