Just because Reggie has probably never seen a naked woman before doesn't mean strip clubs are wrong. As for 3am, I guess Reg never stayed up that late either. I liked Reggie as a player but he seems like a real goodi-good "Im telling on you" sorta person.

Jackson's a complete idiot for putting himself in the situation in the first place. Obviously he knew he was putting himself in danger considering he was carrying a concealed weapon. I'm sure these guys who attacked him didn't just attack him for no reason, there must have been an altercation beforehand, and knowing Jackson's "style" - I would have to assume that he talked a lot of shit to these guys and thus put himself in this situation. Nobody would just run him over with their car and start a brawl for no reason. And worst of all, he was doing all this just a few hours before practice in the morning!

If it was my team, I'd have a hard time not throwing Jackson off the squad. I understand that he's one of the focal points of the Pacers team, but this kind of stuff is ridiculous. They better at least fine him or something.

I think you are also showing a lack of knowledge of the NBA lifestyle. These guys go out and party untill 3 when they have a game the next day along with practice.

Also think about when you have a game that finishes at 10:00. After showering and talking to the press and whatnot it is probably 11:30. You get on a plane at 12:30 and fly for 2 hours. You arrive at your hotel at 2:30 and then you have a game the next day. Do you think those guys get there and go to sleep? I will guarantee you they don't, especially if they are playing in New York, Miami, Chicago or Los Angeles.

As much as I hate Steven Jackson I don't really see the huge problem. From what I have read about this the police concluded that he used his gun in self defense. And for players having guns, as long as their legal it's their right.I hear about athletes getting robbed all the time for their cars, chains, etc. With all the money they have they are definitely targets when they go out.

Lol well I'm obviously not part of the team like you so it's hard for me to be just as much of an expert on the NBA lifestyle that you're so involved in. Either way, I don't give a shit what they do, I wouldn't want them doing it. You're also forgetting that this isn't the regular season... it's when everyone's supposedly be getting in shape and working towards the start of the season. It's a pretty important time of the year. If this was any other teams player you would be singing a different tune.

Not if that's your regular schedule there isn't. Plus, I know I have an easier time getting up at 2 when I go to sleep at 5 then when I go to sleep at midnight and have to get up at 9.

Definitley going to have to disagree here. The offseason is when everyone is supposed to be getting in to shape, and that's what all the Pacers did, was work out all season.

Plus, read my earlier posts. I was upset when I found out they were out that late when I thought the practice was earlier in the morning. When I found out it wasn't untill 3 I realized those guys really did nothing wrong, including the staying out late part.

I still think it's irresponsible, they're grown men being paid a shit load of money. They've just had an entire off season to do that kind of shit, it's not as if Jimmy "Snap" Hunter and Jamaal Tinsley were exactly being considered for Team USA or anything. I still think he acted in self defense. When you get in to a fight you get charged with Batter and Assault, so that's a given. He got charged with Criminal Recklessness because he fired in to the air.
