artest must be pretty fucked up right now....he was saying that sacramento would beat the spurs and leave the postseason #1
he's still got a chance, he never said it'd be easy, lol, but they still cant beat the spurs.
Ron Artest saying that the Kings were the team to beat... That cracks me up even more now!
Hopefully Ron Ron can show us why he made that comment in Game 2.
Somehow, I don't expect it will discourage Artest from sharing his views and bold predictions.
Anyway, Ronny says a lot of things, so if you actually believed him or thought he MIGHT have validity in what he said, you're an idiot.
With Artest's prediction being so bold, the Spurs' blowout victory does invite a reaction of "You were saying?", even if it was only one game. Artest's boasting did suggest knocking off the Spurs would be easier than most people expect and Game 1 served as a reminder that it's not going to be all that easy for the Kings to upset San Antonio and emerge as the #1 team at the end of the Playoffs.
Yeah... I think we remember...

It's a similar situation to Marbury's "I'm the best point guard" comment followed by the Knicks' slide last year
reminds me how a few season ago Sam Cassell said Bucks would beat Detroit (which they needed to to advance to the playoffs) on the final game of the season......they lost by 30+
