I wouldn't say he has "heart", he just gesticulates everytime something happens on the court.

I couldnt see him go much higher than top 15-20.
If Florida didnt win it ppl prob wouldnt be saying 'Top 5 worthy'.

From what i've learned over the past few weeks he is full of energy, has a good motor, gets the crowd involved, has huge passion for the game, is constantly fired up and he lead his team to the Final four. It's hard to say he doesn't have heart.

Heard heard heard lol... you just have to watch him. I don't know how you define heart, but I see him as some overactive overconfident kid who's lapping up the attention.

Not to mention how good of a passer he is and the fact that his basketball IQ is incredible for a 1st year starter who is a sophomore. Noah is going to be an outstanding NBA player.

(Hey Jae, first Ike, then Danny, now Joakim. :D )

I made my comment 2 weeks ago, I think Gators had only just made Sweet 16....at that point he had consolidated himself as a 1st Rounder with a chance of going in the 10-20 range....normally 2 weeks don't mean much, but in Noah's case, he's played big & the media loves him....to tell you the truth, I hadn't seen much of him when I made my comment, but after the tourney run, I've seen a bit more of him....what I can say, he now appears to be a lock for lottery (although it's not the strongest draft either)....when I made my comment, he was definitely not a lock for lottery, only 1st Round....as far as his stock goes, it can't really get too much higher than it is now....looking at Noah's game, he's really flourished in Florida's system, & could be effective if put in the right situation in the NBA (a big if)....he seems to excel when he has the ball at the top of the key & is able to work from there by using his speed, quickness & long legs to get into the lane & either finish or dish it off....I do like Noah a lot, but I still think he needs at least another year of college....if he had a mid-range game then his transition might be easier....that being said, I don't think his stock can get any higher, so I couldn't fault him for bolting....

on a side note, what is your guys' take on UCLA's Hollins?!? like Noah, he's another guy who came out of nowhere & had a big Tourney that has really got his stock soaring....he wasn't even on draft radar before Tourney, now it seems like he's a 2nd Rounder, somewhere....although after seeing how high Frye went (I still don't like him) last year, I think if Hollins works out well (a big if) & at least one team falls for him, he could conceivably sneak into the Late 1st Round....he's a lanky, athletic big like Frye, & just like Frye, Hollins can shoot that mid-range jumper....he's not at Frye's level, but when you look at a few of the tools he has & NBA teams want big men who can play pick n' roll game, so he's a chance to be a big riser....Frye also had a mediocre college career....a few similarities, so I'm gonna call Hollins a poor man's Channing Frye

Word, just like what I said up there. He's overrated at this very moment because they've just won the title, but when the hype is over you have a very talented kid. (don't get me wrong, noah is for real but its just a little hype right now)

Talking about the drafts, there's a Lithuanian youngster M. Kalnietis, that might be a top-5 in a draft a couple of years later. He's 18-years old, already is playing in one of the strongest European teams Zalgiris Kaunas, plays much and plays very well. He is in my signature by the way, so Mantas is obviously a player to watch after in the next couple of years. BTW, he won this years Lithuanian leagues slam dunk competition, eveb though he's a point guard. Pays sort of like J. Kidd, it's just that he dunks very nicely.

oh yeah one of my teammate was saying in practice yesterday that noah was like in the camera literally every moment, cause like if he makes a play he screams and the camera focuses on him. and if his teammates makes a play he just comes up from behind and starts like screaming or hugging them and stuff, and gets on camera, someone must have paid him to get on camera like 24/7 or something.

and nobody cares about your little euro kid, if you wanna talk about him, go make a thread outside this then.

People saying he's overrated because we won the title forget how important he was to us winning the title. As balanced a team as we do have, he was the one who carried us on his back when necessary.

As a Gator fan, I hope he stays for a repeat. But as a Bulls fan, I would not be that disappointed to see him come out if we take him. I think he or Aldridge would be our best choices with the number one pick. Yes, he needs to bulk up and add a jump shot, but there is no doubt at all in my mind that he will do that. The kid is a winner. He works hard at his game and he will do whatever it takes to succeed. Combine his intangibles with his athletic ability and the skills he already has and there's no way he can't be a very good, maybe even great, player in the NBA.

I don't know, from what I have read, he doesn't do anything great. He's tall and long, but he doesn't have the bulk necessary to bang in the post or the shot to work outside.

I didn't read any post before, but I heard in the final four ( in the Spanish channel ) that he wants to continue in the NCAA at least one more year.

At least don't judge until you've seen him play.

He announced (along with Brewer and Horford) at the championship celebration that they'd be coming back next year. Promises are breakable though...let's wait until April 29th and see.
