How good is Ryan Gomes?

Big Al WILL be an all star. He's gonna be exactly like Moses Malone.

Ryan Gomes WILL be an all star. This is his rookie season. He's playing unbelievably well of late. He had a career high 27 points against the wizards. Next game, career high of 29 points. He keeps getting better and better. No one really knows him, so he doesn't get as much publicity as he should, and yes he is underrated.

How do you think he won't be an all star? He and Big Al both do have the potential, and they both will be. He was nasty at Providence, all Big East player, and now, in the NBA, he's just as good, if not, better than he was in college.

I see a bright future for this kid.

DaTruth36, shut the hell up. You wouldn't know Moses Malone from Jerome Moiso.

That's not true. That's not true at all. He's 6'10'', hes a PF/C, and he can dribble the ball just fine.

DaTruth36, Ryan Gomes is 6'7 and a PF/SF. Learn your shit.

DaTruth, I find it ironic that your posts have about as much credibility as the shit that comes out of my ass.

Wow you're fucking stupid man.

He was a steal. This guy was an All Big-East player, and he can do everything right now. And who was that dude that said he needs to work on his ballhandling skill?

I mean, yeah sure, anyone can improve on that; But for his matter, he doesn't really need to at all.

I see this guy as an All-Star in the future. 2-3 years I say.

There's no need to call someone a "fucking stupid man" simply because he said he was a good choice for the 50th overall pick. In fact, why are you angry at the fact that he congratulated the Celtics for making a good move? It just baffles me.

Anway, Like Crunk said, he's 6'7, so he'll obviously be undersized at the power foward position. This also means that he has to slide over to small foward, which requires a major adapation from power foward. You'd have to be blind not to realize that his ballhandling skills and quickness are mediocre for a three man because he's been mostly a 4 during college, which was the obvious reason why his stock was probably so low.

Edit: I also would like to add that he's 250 lbs, which is the weight of some of the power fowards/centres in the league. There's no way that he'll be able to match up defensively with quicker players that are around 20-30 lbs lighter than he is.

Well, looks like Celtics are bound to win a championship da next few years, with Al Jefferson playing like Moses, maybe 22 points, and 18 rebounds, then Ryan Gomes, an all-star, soo maybe 20/10 guy, you got delonte west.. his #'s will be like Jason Kidd's but more scoring ( MVP Candidate ), Perkin's got potential, hes big, he'll be more or less like Shaq... then you got the candiman off the bench, a great lottery pick, lafrentz ( better than nowitzki b/c he can block shots ) ..

darn i pulled a DaTruth
