he isnt that injury prone... hes played 83% of his games coming into this season

iverson is still better than the majority of people on the roster when he plays hurt -- he's literally been hurt his whole career. if you did not watch the 2004 olympics, iverson knows his role within the team -- he had the pass first mentality and he took smart shots. he was arguably the best player on that team. it just sucks how iverson is used as a scapegoat for everything.

AI deserves to be on the US team. maybe he wont have 33 a game, but he'll get 26 a game easy. there arent gonna be many PG's in the league who will be better then him in 2008 (maybe CP3 and thats it)

Wait a second... the reason why there's a trianing squad is so that the coahces can be versatile with who they pick to form the final team. I don't see any problem with including AI on the squad, let him play in Japan this Summer then in 3 years time, if his body isn't holding up, don't put him on the Olympic team. If his body is good and he's playing well... you're not missing out on including a talented player who acutally wants to represent his country.
