Good to see my boy Yao doing good now.
He is really playing good as of lately.
He is starting to become a 20 and 10 guy now.

Maybe T-Mac should defer more to Yao in the future?

So who's making Juwan look better? Yao or Mac?

rockets aren't out of the playoff hunt yet.. only 4 games behind the lakers

For sure, Yao is finally healthy and Tmac + Yao can do some damage. Lakes are Kobe based team, Kobe will have to win every game for them. I see Houston taking that 8th spot if Yao and Tmac play well. By the way Houston had one of the wrost records in the NBA with injuries, now they are playing well, so they definatelly got a chance.

HA you made me laugh. If that happens Rockets have 0 chance. Dallas is am improved offensive and defensive team. All Rockets have is Yao and Tmac, nobody else is really that good on that team. That being said I have no doubght that Dallas will stop Tmac and Yao with their defense.

32 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, 1 steal, 1 turn-over in a win against the Blazers.

Tmac's hurt, Yao is dominating when Mcgrady is somewhat struggling, he seems to play the best when Tmac is sharing the main option with Yao as oppose to Mcgrady dominating the ball.. this is a good time for Yao to develop into a 22/10 guy , and learn to lead the team...

but Rockets can't go that far this way, if mcgrady is out again, I am guessing Yao's FG % will go down, but FT attempts/assists will be up..

Yao is avging over a 20/10 i think right now, hope he keeps developing!
I don't even know if it is better for the rockets to keep losing and get a good draft pick or make the playoffs, winning into the playoffs would be a good moral boost and more attractive for free agents, while a better draft pick might benefit in the long run

So for China.. things looking up for this Summer! They might get past the group stage!

I think he's a horrible player and completely over-rated, he should be averaging about 15 RPG with his height and he's soft as shit and goes down faster than a blonde (N)
I'll be back for EASO 2007, feel the terror like its 05 again i own this game!!

^^ height doesn't mean he should be the rebounding king... theres more to rebounding than being tall. For example: if a smaller player gets better positioning and jumps at the right time, they will most probably get the board.

You say he goes down like a blonde? Physical just isn't part of Yao's vocab... it's not his playing style... can't u judge him by how he plays and not by how u think he should play?

Obviously you have no tv in Australia. Since Kobe scored 67 in 3qtrs on Mavs their defense has really picked up, they are not as good as spurs as of yet, but are definatelly top 5.
Tmac is hurt, he is not taking as many shots as he used to, Yao gets more touches plus he is more confident. Tmac is realizing how unstoppable the two of them are together, so he passes the ball more and Yao scores. I like Yao right now, he has a nice touch and he is playing hard, getting points + boards. Go Yao, can't wit to see next game.

You obviously don't know high level basketball, a lot of nba players do get over the rim quite easily even without being tall than 6'10, since that is the case, as long as it is timed right, a rebound is pretty fair to get, a 7'5 player without much jump is equivalent to sum1 with 6'10 with '7 more vertical with good timing.. + the 6'10 guy can chase rebounds better b/c of the speed... for example since shawn marion's got a super fast jump, even tho hes 6'7, he rebounds like hes a 7 footer.. + hes got da speed to chase down rebounds

If Yao had great intensity/quickness say like KG, yes its true he would be getting like 18 rebounds a game, but that is like saying if Earl Boykins was 1 foot taller, he would probally be better than dwayne wade

Top 5 my balls. They are marginally better defensively than last season. They still cant defend the pick & roll, their rotations are lame and they have no top notch individual defenders that can take a guy out of a game. Josh Howard & Griffin are the only good defenders on this team.

Keeping teams under 100 points doesn't mean you play defense.

if you're counting last season, then that's already pretty good when you factor in how they played under Avery Johnson. Dallas the past 2 seasons has had one of the better defenses in the league. I could provide some stats (http://www.knickerblogger.net/stats/2006/d_de.htm) but I guess since Dallas rotations are "lame" and whatever else you said take precedent
Jump.
