He didn't exactly say he is better than Melo',

Hmm, "I'd say better than Carmelo"

If the guy has been averaging almost 20+ points, and more rebounds and maybe steals than Melo in a few less minutes, I would say he is playing better than Melo as well. On that note, I think he could become close to an all-star if he shoots the ball alot more but he really can't do that because its really not his team. Superstar No, All-Star Possibly.

But he's not averaging more steals, and he's only averaging one rebound per game more than him in roughly the same amount of minuts. Melo is actually carrying the Nuggets, where as Howard is just pulling his own weight. Theres a difference.

You are like ESPN, they will only look at stats. If you compare Melo's stats and Howards stats in the last 10-15 games Josh will be on top. Yes, Melo will still get more PPG but that is becasue Nuggets are build around Melo, Where Dallas is built around DIrk, plus Mavs have alot more scorers. Howard brings more energy then Melo most of the games, plus he is not taking stupid shots, and do not tell me it is not true, because Melo takes HORRIBLE shots.

You cant compare the shots that Howard takes to what Carmelo takes. Howard gets wide open opportunities becuase of Nowitzki, Stackhouse and Terry. Melo is the focus of the other teams defense and always has a man on him.

This comparison is similar to Tayshawn Prince and Chris Bosh. Is prince really better than Bosh becuase he "Takes better shots"?

He's a great player and nice stats. I think he's gonna make an Allstar Game or two but not a superstar.

Superstars I can think of : MJ, Shaq and AI.

I think Josh is capable of being an incredibly good role player for a team and a solid number 2 or 3 guy, but he's not going to carry a team. I'm a big fan and have high hopes for him. Definitely one of the underrated of the 2003 draft.
