What do you mean they can't build a championship caliber team in a couple of years? Kevin McHale did it a few years ago in one summer (the Cassell and Sprewell trades, the signings of Trenton Hassell and Fred Hoiberg). If it weren't for injuries, Garnett might have a ring right now. Things can trade drastically by the day.

They to trade KG away. They've done nothing with him, and eventually they won't be able to trade him. He's 29 now, and that's past prime playing age. He won't be getting any better, and unless the Wolves manage to revamp nearly every position in the offseason I see no reason to not rebuild.

What outrages me is that KG isnt even starting for the All-Star's Hes the most respected player, him and Ray Allen he needs relief Ricky Davis and Kg and someone else like Stephon Marbury or Steve Francis would be good he needs better players on his team, the only realy starting worthy player is Ricky Davis, and he needs more then that and Kg wont be traded he carries the team on his back they need him without him its lights out for the wolves I do hope he leaves the NBA with a championship.

He Deserves it.

29, past his prime? Historically, most players are in the middle of their prime at age 29 and don't start to show noticeable slippage in their game (statistically or otherwise) for at least a few years..and even then, they're still right up there, even if their statistics don't match their absolute best individual seasons in the league.
KG may not get any better statistically, but he's hardly washed up. I really don't understand this current way of thinking that as soon as a player hits the age of 28, 29 they become old and useless.

Well I guess you are right about KG still being great, but he can't do everything for Minnesotta. And I do not think Superstars have to be traded if they have not won a champiosnhip in a while. I just think that you can get more than 1 decent player for a superstar, which might make your team better.

Historically speaking great players can usually be traded for multiple players. Wilt Chamberlain was traded to the Lakers for three players, Scottie Pippen was traded to Portland for six. But historically speaking the teams that traded the star players weren't necessarily better off. Portland went to the Conference Finals and were a blown quarter away from advancing to the NBA Finals that year while Houston didn't make the playoffs. The Lakers certainly benefited more from the Chamberlain trade than the Sixers.
