What, i was kicking him while he was down all of last season too, i desperately wanted him fired because of the stupid shit he was doing. For all the good things he did with the vets he sure as hell never helped the young guys apart from bag them in public.
it wasn't limited to just rookies- he would bag the whole team in public. He does the all this stupid shit but the Pistons were 1 game away from the winning the championship. Detroit didn't lose the Finals because Brown wasn't praising the rookies, that's for sure
The Pistons have been contenders for a few years now- why are you still ragging on him for not helping young players? Phil Jackson & Pat Riley, perhaps the 2 greatest coaches from the last 2 and half decades, seldom rely on rookies or pump them up in the press lol

I can't fault Brown as much as I fault the players and the GM. Brown has a championship and a proven record. Most of the players on the Knicks haven't even been past the 2nd round of the playoffs
But hey- I won't be complaining if NYK continues to lost a lot in the next 2 seasons
