amare may have put up better stats against duncan, but thats akin to shaq putting up better stats against hakeem; all that matters in the end is the result. anyway, you cant go wrong with either amare or howard, but i just think howards upside defensively outweighs amare's upside offensively in comparison. and again, the injury makes me wary of amares future.... something bad enough to sideline him for maybe a year? similar injuries to other players have seriously hindered their performance post hence. before the injury i would be harder pressed to pick, in fact id've probably have picked amare, but again, the injury has tipped the scales for me.
