I once created a overweight 5 foot player with a dozen accessories and named him Khalid El-Amin who came along with supernatural speed and dunking abilities just to piss off Legend while playing NBA Live. I don't think Legend heard of him, but I like to create players with Muslim names. I don't know why. Oh yeah, and Shaquille O'Neal Jr. This guy really pissed Legend off. He was tall like Yao Ming but extremely fat and fast. He was my hero, and would be Jackal's hero if Shaq Jr. ever existed.

Khalid El-Amin was awesome in college. He was on the team with Rip Hamilton that won it all.

Travis Knight.. made what, $5million to be the 12th man on the knicks bench?

Yes, I knew that...actually it was 2003/2004. He also saw action with the Timberwolves in 1996/1997, after his run-in with Charles Barkley during the Atlanta Olympics earned him so notoriety.

Other names:
-Courtney Alexander: he was the best rookie in January 02 (I think)
-Paul McPherson: SG with good skills but a bit overweighted
-Scott Burrell: he has a ring at least with Bulls
-Ousmane Cisse: drafted in 01, and thought to be the next Worm
-Bill Curley: White Worm
-Cedric Henderson: starter with cavs in 99
-Khalid El-Amin: Mr.Tonelete (very very overweighted)

Burrell retired, he had a pretty good career as a shooter off the bench.

I read he didn't played basketball regulary since he retired but he's planning to join his mate Dorron Sheffler in an Isreal team... The coach said if he's in shape in October he'll be signed...

I saw Cedric Henderson on minor leagues I assume, same goes for Paul McPherson. Courtney Alexander may have never fully recovered his knee injury.

Charles Oakley was still looking for a team last season... I saw Thomas Hamilton in some minor leagues if I'm not mistaken

A couple of players that faded away that come to mind are Jay Williams and Trajan langdon

Mon Aug 22, 2005 4:48 am

Hey, whatever happened to that Harold Miner guy from Miami? He was a pretty good dunker, but he disappeared off the face of the earth.

Jay Williams had an accident and is trying to recover, that surely won't reach his previous level.
Trajan Langdon has just signed with CSKA Moscow, despite his double-contract mess. He signed first with Unicaja Malaga in Spain, but after that, CSKA (the richest team in Europe) made him a higher offer and signed again. Euroleague autorities had to put order.

Muresan was the tallest player in NBA he was 7'7, one inch taller than Yao.I think he went to Romania( or w/e he is from) and is playing there

He was called Baby Jordan because of his potential, but he just sucked plain and simple. I think it was his poor work ethic that sent him packing out of the league.

Mon Aug 22, 2005 8:59 am

Would that be Kevin Gamble?

Tom Chambers, the best video game basketball player ever. (The video game was Lakers vs. Celtics.)
He did have quite a long career though. So dunno if he counts really as disappeared.
